A 4th-gen iPod shuffle. Love my new Android handset, but music management on it is atrocious at best and the default sound profile (and the lack of an EQ!) is just terrible, so I'm complimenting it with an iPod that is more of a known quantity for me.

Just hope I don't end up wishing I had gotten one of the new nanos instead. :p

802.11N Wi-Fi, Gigabyte ethernet 4 port switch and ADSL 2. I've yet to get a router though, maybe a time capsule.

I thought that is a router? We have the same one at my place and had to get a separate modem for comcast. Poop.

This is funny because your reasons for hating the andriod music player won't be solved by getting a shuffle (no music management, and no EQ haha).

Haha! :p

No, you're kinda right, but I mean management as far as getting music on my Android phone. It's a pain in the ass to sync playlists (especially smart playlists like those generated by iTunes and Clementine), which is my preferred method of getting music on my portable devices. Additionally, having listened to a friend's shuffle, it can more easily do without the EQ than my HTC Glacier can.

That shouldn't put you off... I had HEAPS of earwax but the guy removed enough to get the mouldings then I went to an ear nurse who used suction to get the deep stuff out.
Sure, you have to clean them more than normal in-ears, but as long as you do it regularly enough there's nothing to really worry about. I could only ever buy IEMs from now on... other earphones and headphones just don't cut it for me anymore :p

In fact the earwax was just another problem, I have an angled ear canal which makes wearing normal IEMs impossible due to bad seal and pain. I had to sell my Klipsch Image S4 because of this.

I could have tried to have a pair done, but I didn't feel like risking 500$. I'll wait until I get out of college and actually have money :p

I stalked the crap out of your flickr after seeing "When We Were Young" in a photography thread.

Very beautiful photos.

Aw, thank you! I'm hoping to do some more lightpainting soon. It's really fun, despite how suspicious it looks (some guy running around in the dark, with the occasional flash of bright light).

Had lunch today at Big Fat Burrito at Bay & Dundas. Best burrito in Toronto, IMO. Not my photo.

WOW. Looks so good.

Hey, I'm taking a week vacation in a Vancouver in July. Any places I should definitely go to eat? Anyone?

Have you ever been to Gandhi Cuisine at Bathurst and Queen? They make the most amazing roti filled with amazing Indian dishes. They're like Indian burritos. I miss that place as much as I miss Salad King.

If you haven't been, you must go.

I can't trust someone who idealizes Salad King! I hate that place, and I can stand even less how people seem to actually like it. It really tries to be more than it really is; oh yeah, and the food is terrible. :p

I keep seeing Gandhi Cuisine on Urbanspoon Toronto's front page, but I'm also wary of Urbanspoon since Terroni has been at the top of "Fine dining" for ages. What say you about your awful recommendations, Surely?! :p

Although, that roti looks good.

You hate Salad King?:eek: Why? What's wrong with you?;) I have to say that their curries are the best I've ever had, and I compare every Thai restaurant I go to to SK. Sure, not everything they make is amazing, but their curries......c'mon man.:p My wife and brother have been to Thailand, and they love SK. We're all very picky eaters. It's not five star dining, but the food is very far from terrible. Every friend/family member I've taken there has loved it. Actually, you're the first person I've ever heard say something bad about SK.

I've been to Terroni a couple of times, and I didn't think it was anything special. Actually, they even opened one up here in LA near Beverly and Fairfax, and it's usually very busy. It was weird driving by the first time, I was like: "hey, wait a sec, how's that restaurant here?"

Gandhi is this amazing hole in the wall, and they make everything to order. It's been there for years, and I've never had a bad meal there. It'll be one of my stops when I'm in TO for a visit. Just try it ya wuss!

Purchased an HTC Hd7 as a birthday gift for my younger bro. Massive screen estate and seamless interface. Kid is loving it.

There's a router that looks identical to that one though.

It is. They briefly grill the entire burrito after wrapping it, unlike Chipotle where the only thing that's warm is the meat. They also have sauces besides salsa & hot sauce. Their burrito sauce, while questionable in nutritional content, gives it a wonderfully light garlic flavour which really brings out the meat and beans. Best thing of all, though, is that they don't put coriander/cilantro in anything. The manager at Bay & Dundas and I literally had a discussion about how offensive coriander was. I find the herb repulsive. Tastes like dishsoap to me.

Oh, and they don't charge for guac.

^^^^I, too, think that cilantro tastes like soap (or perfume).

Walked over to Yogurtland to grab some dessert for us after grilling some chicken kabobs for dinner.

It's self serve, and I helped myself to vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate mint. I didn't feel like any fruit toppings, so I threw a few mini caramel chocolate cups in.

Never take your car to jiffy lube. They are idiots. Often forget to put oil in the car, or tighten. The drain plug or various oth things.
my engine blew after going there because I was to lazy to do it my self. and recenty a friend of mine took his car there and they didnt put any oil in and blew his engine.
