Never take your car to jiffy lube. They are idiots. Often forget to put oil in the car, or tighten. The drain plug or various oth things.
my engine blew after going there because I was to lazy to do it my self. and recenty a friend of mine took his car there and they didnt put any oil in and blew his engine.

+1 to THAT! Jiffy Lube is probably the worst place you could take your car for anything!! They will give just about anyone a job there, that's not a bad thing as far as employing someone, but do you really want someone who knows nothing about vehicles to be touching yours? Horrible place.

I knew someone that use to work for Jiffy lube and he told me to never take my car there for anything. He said it was very common to not fully drain the oil or replace the oil filter during busy days. He also mentioned the oil filter Jiffy lube uses is a piece of crap and that alone could ruin your engine.

Happened to me as well. After they topped off my engine coolant, they left the cap off. The next day, I had to drive a good distance. I made it there just fine, but on the way home, I noticed the temperature gauge increasing, then the service engine soon light came on, then a bunch of other lights came on. I freaked out, got off the highway, and called AAA. He towed me to a nearby Pepboys, a guy there took a look, and then told me that if I wouldn't have stopped my engine at that moment, thousands of dollars of damage would have occurred. He topped off the coolant, and I went on my way.

The next day I went to that JiffyLube and gave the manager a piece of my mind. He refunded me and personally made sure that everything under the hood was okay. He offered me free service for my next visit.

I'll never go back.

Not surprising at all. I only go to Jiffy Lube to dump oil after I change my truck's fluids myself. I'm going to change my rear differential fluid today and I'll be dumping at JL.

OH, and when my wife was about 19 and at college she took her little Civic to JL and they stole the engine hood prop and they STOLE HER SPARE TIRE right out of her trunk! She didn't notice until a couple weeks later and when she went back to confront them she had no proof so the manager blew her off.

After reading a few of your horrible experiences with jiffy lube, I wonder how they even managed to stay in business with such shady business practices?

first set of Gear!!!
this stuff adds up. Helmet, goggles, jersey, pants, elbow and knee pads, boots and socks. Luckily I can wear some youth stuff.
I do wonder what it would look like if I towed a trailer behind my little lowered '02 civic.
