What are the specs on the 2011 puppy model? I hope its a little bit bumped up over the 2002 model.

Both pups are cute though!

She is a fawn, we named her Zoe. We have been looking for a female fawn for some time although we are not planing on breeding. Found an amazing breeder and drove to Iowa to pick her up sight unseen. Made me a little leery, however she is the "pick of the litter, i.e; ultimate" and we couldnt be happier, she came with a factory warranty

Gunner is our soon to be 9 year old base model with custom skin tags and beefed up stubborness, and I have had him as a puppy as well. I had only been out of the house about 2 months and decided i need a dog, and for being 6'4 with big ears, he suits me well

Yup, it's still good for me. I don't do anything processor-intensive. This upgrade option is much cheaper in the long run than selling the whole thing off and getting a new MBP with SSD and 8GB RAM.

Got the SSD for $250 shipped on ebay.

I'm on the fence about TRIM. I don't think I will though-- been reading threads on these forums about it actually slowing the drive down once activated through the hack. The Intel 320 series has its own garbage collection too as far as I know. Plus Lion is around the corner with TRIM (though I don't know if it'll support non-stock SSDs). We'll see..

I went to Barnes and Noble for Death and Life and Aerotropolis was right next to it. I read the introduction and it seemed pretty interesting. Unfortunately I have the really bad habit of buying books and never getting around to reading them...

Do you use iBooks?

No. I find reading on the iPad to be really hard on the eyes. Also, every time I went to buy a book it wasn't available.

The only books I'll buy for the iPad are textbooks if they're available, for obvious reasons.
