Already had a 160Gb 1st Gen AppleTV but its creaking now. Plus I finally figured out how to get US Netflix access in New Zealand and the Netflix client on my bluray player is rubbish, so wanted to give the AppleTV method a go. Really like it so far, much better than my 1st gen, but if this had the onboard storage it would be perfect!

Finally decided to buy this Kindle cover/light. I bought it from Amazon Warehouse Deals for $35 in "Like New" condition, and the only description is that it may come repackaged (all the other ones say things like "minor cosmetic imperfection" here and there, so hopefully I found one in perfect condition). Saved almost 50%

Picked it up from a local ad for $20. Pretty dinged up, but i'll only be using it while i'm at work anyway.

Its a nice replacement to my damaged 6th gen. I'm loving the feel of it, very solid, didn't think I'd like it as much as the the 5th and 6th gens. But I think I like it more, just overall feels better and more secure in my hand.

For some reason it makes me wanna find a used Classic to buy.

Not exactly a purchase, but this week I asked my girlfriends parents for permission to marry their daughter, and I was kindly presented with an engagement ring that has been passed down through the family. I believe it was her great-grandmother's.

However, some money may need spending for professional cleaning and resizing!

The image doesn't really do it justice.

Congrats, but in the long run a Mac is a much cheaper investment. I speak from experience.

Okay, so I bought it about 10 weeks ago when I was in South Africa, but my new rug turned up! :D

It's was created by the Kwazulu Weavers and is made from leather off-cuts that have been woven into a rug. It's woven by local women, who receive a percentage of the profit, so that they can provide financial support for their village.

I still have to move some furniture to put it down properly.

I will buy this bag within the next 2 weeks (while I'm on vacation) so that it's delivered to my door around the time I return from my business trip and vacation.

I'm currently moving the money to Paypal so that I can pay for it. Does the inevitable purchase of this product count as a purchase? ;)

I'm just not sure which colour I want. The "toffee" (light brown) colour is definitely more my style, but the dark one looks great. My girlfriend says my choices very predictable, but oh well!!!

Cool! I don't want to make you feel bad about having to save for that Wacom Cintiq display, but at my job (at a hospital), we have around 8 of those Cintiq screens, and by next month, will have between 12 to 15 of them. :) You'll love yours. It's fantastic.

Finally it's time to upgrade from the old standard Xbox 360 (loud, very little storage, no wireless internet) to a slim with 250GB HDD. I ordered this bundle although I already have GoW3, because the price was so sweet.
