You'd didn't buy the magsafe converter for your Macbook Air, did you? Only the new Macbook Pro Retina requires that, if you intend to charge it with an older magsafe (the one that will come with your MBA).

I did!

I have a Thunderbolt display at home, so i will need it to use it on the power lead.

Charger for MBA will be used at work.

Got this for my iPhone 4 as original warranty runs out at the end of the month, I'll probably be getting the new iPhone whenever it is released this year so didn't know if it was worth it but ill probably pass my iPhone 4 onto my mum when I get a new one so at least it will have warranty for her.

Where do you live where you spark a fire in the summer time ? It has been so warm here for me Id never think to do that this time of year. Regardless, I like your thinking!:D

hahaha I live in Portland, Oregon. We did it pretty late though like around 12:30 and it was drizzling a little, but that went away.

Me and my friend had the same case. They do a good job at protecting your phone... but they do not last long. The entire thing just starts cracking and eventually falls apart. Mine lasted less than six months and I take pretty good care of my phone.

I agree. Although this is the case, I don't mind replacing it every few months or so. They're less than $10 on Amazon, much more stylish than the Otterbox Commuter (Opinion), and protect better than any other case on the market aside from the heavy hitters (Lifeproof, Otterbox Defender, etc) because of the dual silicone/plastic interface.

The new 2012 Macbook Air also have a MagSafe 2.

It has been ordered!

My second-ever Mac! Got my first one back in 2007 (2.16GHz MacBook), time for an upgrade! That's one hell of an upgrade. ;)

Can I ask, why not retina? Just because you wanted 750gb instead of 256gb or what?

Not at all. I'm just not a fan of the rMBP. Too many things could go wrong with the world's most unrepairable computer. ;)

Don't worry tho, once I upgrade to 16GB of RAM, I'll be able to keep up with the rest of you retina users. :p

Renewed my subscription for my car for another 6 months. Works out to around $5.83/month. Good deal! :D

SIRIUS-XM-RADIO-LOGO.jpg

I did that about 7 months ago, they offered me 5 months for $25, then gave me 6 months when I called them.

Last month they charge me over $80 for 6 months. Nothing in the mail or a bill. Just an auto-renew. I changed my subscription online to the "talk" package + online package.

Yes, that is the deal I've had for the past 12 months ($30/6 months). Their rates have increased, so my price has increased.

The $80+ is their regular price for 6 months, and each rep has explained to me that would be the renewal rate unless I call in again a couple of days prior to my renewal date 6 months from now.

I will buy this bag within the next 2 weeks (while I'm on vacation) so that it's delivered to my door around the time I return from my business trip and vacation.

I'm currently moving the money to Paypal so that I can pay for it. Does the inevitable purchase of this product count as a purchase? ;)

I'm just not sure which colour I want. The "toffee" (light brown) colour is definitely more my style, but the dark one looks great. My girlfriend says my choices very predictable, but oh well!!!

Is that from Aunts&Uncles? :D

I love their bags. I have the The Rowing Club - Mr Coacher myself. The quality is superb!

Yup, from early 2006 until sometime in 2011 I paid $77 a year for full XM plus free internet listening. Sometime in 2012 they started charging $3 a month for online listening. I cancelled for a couple of months, then they gave me that deal. I get tired of having to haggle with them though.

I didn't have to haggle- I just called, spoke with the right rep, and she re-upped me at the promotional price. The hold time was ridiculous though....it ended up being a 45 minute call, with only around 10 minutes of talking time.

I guess full price would be somewhere in the $170-180 range per year, so I'm happy with my $35 for 6 months. I only have it for the car, no online listening.

Good to hear, yeah mine is only in the car as well, but I listen most of the day on my iphone so online was more important than in the car. Good to know they are easy to deal with on the phone. Sometimes it took a couple of calls for me to get a deal. I couldn't justify full price for a radio that is only in the car.
