My UE Superfi 4's are starting to go, so i just wanted a decent pair of earbuds to wear at work. They're nowhere near as good and balanced at the Superfi's, but i can't complain for only $20.

I'll say one thing, they're advertised to have "extreme deep bass" and that they do, but it's not overpowering or muddy like Skullcandy's. Mids and highs aren't the greatest though.

How do you like it? I was debating on that and a 70-300mm VR, and I wound up getting the Tamron 70-300mm VR

I Haven't really been able to go out and shoot anything yet. Hopefully I can tomorrow. I will let you know.

Yeah I mean the other machines at the same price were smaller form factor and were running similar pentium 4's with say 1GB ram. But this machine should be sufficient for her needs at least and obviously more room for upgrades due to dual optical drives, dual CPU etc. Its somewhat a PC equivalent to my PowerMac G4 MDD in terms of architecture. The annoying part is the DDR PC3200 this thing runs doesnt seem to get cheap.... The cheapest I have found 2GB for is roughly £28 which is pricey compared to other types.
EDIT: Plus I forgot to mention, this has much better graphics than those cheap P4 systems. The only bottleneck is the RAM but as you say, I can afford at this price to throw some more in :)

That's the trouble with the older RAM modules....The older they are the more expensive they become as the market dries. Buying Ram for new stuff is super cheap, but even Crucial are charging a premium price for older memory now. Maybe my old Linux boxes (just discovered that one of them has 2X Nvidia 7600 GT's in SLI mode in it) might be worth something, even as spares.:)

I'm running an old pentium 4 Asus barebone system in my room, parts are disgustingly expensive! No PCI-Express means you have virtually no choice of decent components, stock cooling means you can barely overclock, RAM is like buying pure gold... I would highly recommend you check everything works, then take them apart, and sell for spares!

Just did...:) All is fine...I have no idea what to charge though...We have:

1 4GB DDR 400 Ram ( 2x2GB sticks)

2) 2 Nvidia 7600GTX cards and SLI bridge

3) Nvidia BFG card in a box (not sure what that one is)

4) Several intel CPU's

....Other stuff too....I'm happy enough to upload it cheap, it's only taking up space. I will put it in the market place thread if you can give me guide price?

Sorry for being off topic.

Rocketing through the sky!

My ummm I dunno what. It's a cool flip clock but also has extra outlets on the back attached to timer switches on the side. Have had a hell of a time getting the clock to work all the time since it seems to click off after a set time.
