I have these to be specific

Image

the design of the shoe with a soft sole that allows you to use your whole foot while forcing you to run/jog differently. You'll notice yourself landing and taking off differently. I think its call a mid foot landing, instead of the heel type landing you'd find with stiffer shoes. The takeoff, will use all your toes and put more strain on your calf muscles. The calf muscles will be sore for a couple days and if you use the shoes barefoot you may develop some blisters. Make sure they're very good fitting or you'll keep getting them. I've been wearing thin socks while I adjust but I'd like to get back to barefoot. They're worth it. My running has improved dramatically since I got them.

Ahh, i see. I'm not a runner so I'd be getting these more as a casual/walking type shoe. Thanks for the info.

You'll still notice the difference from walking in them but not as dramatically. I wouldn't spend the whole day in them right out of the gate. Even if you're just walking around, still try to ease in a bit.

Some Under Armour shoes (I think they look ok) and a Wounded Warrior Backpack gift set for one lucky member of our armed forces.

Also finally bought the acclaimed Understanding Exposure book I've heard so much about. And the Apocalypse Full Disclosure Blu-Ray edition

I have those same shoes. I love them! They are comfy, cool on the feet. I had never had a pair of UA shoes before and I am pleasantly surprised.

*edit- after a second look they look a little bit different than mine but same color and model.

I have been really disappointed with their newest release. I don't like anything they did since Meteora. Where's the nu-metal at?

(Not that I expected them to stay locked in a single genre, I just don't like the direction they took.)

I must be in the minority but I think A Thousand Suns was an amazing album.
