After six interviews, I managed to secure myself a permanent, full-time teaching post.
Some Olympic Lego Mini Figs. Or more accurately, a sealed box of 60 of them. They're only available in the UK and limited to a single production run.

I was planning to keep an opened set of 9, a sealed set of 9 and sell the others for a little more than I paid for them. Now I reckon I'll go back to John Lewis, feel the bags until I'm sure I've found all 9, and that'll be the opened set for my collection. I'll keep the box of 60 sealed and see what it's worth when the 2016 Olympics roll around. If it's not much I'll sit on them until 2020, or 2024, or even longer, I'm in no rush.

Just went to see this one. I must say I couldn't wait for it to finish.
It was just too similar to the first one and offered me new nothing new. It kept going over the same themes and details with painstaking repetitiveness.
its amazing how much stuff you dont have when you get your own place. its like all the little annoying things you accumulate over the years that you never remember buying but need them. I remember when i moved into my first apartment I went to make mashed potatoes one night and its like crap I dont have a large bowl. then I bought a bottle of wine and was like crap I dont have an wine opener. Then I went to cut my nails and was like crap I dont have nail cutters. just basic stuff you will constantly have to be buying.
Congrats on the job!
Yankees and Phillies aren't blacked out in Scranton?

I like this.. where from?
A couple of my recent purchases:
Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale, by Mo Willems for a friend having a baby shower. She asked us to bring a book, instead of a card. This came with a glowing endorsement from a good friend who's an elementary school teacher.

A pair of RayBan Wayfarers:
In Sunglass Hut, the tag said Dark Blue Rubber. On RayBan.com and anywhere else i've seen them, it says light blue rubber. Whatever they want to call them.. I love them.
A pair of Toms:
I bought these a few weeks ago, but I don't think I posted about them.
A new over-the-door shoe rack:
I have 2 pair too many for my current shoe holding situations.. so i'm replacing the one inside one of my closet doors with this, which will give me about 20+ more spaces. Next purchases: more shoes to fill this up
I saw it in 3D, I wanted to gouge my outs out even faster. The best part of the movie was the ending. The producers remade a great a series, and turned it into garbage. Why not use the same actors, and expand on the plot from the 3rd movie. It would of been better if they somehow added the Avengers theme into the movie too.
