Some Olympic Lego Mini Figs. Or more accurately, a sealed box of 60 of them. They're only available in the UK and limited to a single production run.

I was planning to keep an opened set of 9, a sealed set of 9 and sell the others for a little more than I paid for them. Now I reckon I'll go back to John Lewis, feel the bags until I'm sure I've found all 9, and that'll be the opened set for my collection. I'll keep the box of 60 sealed and see what it's worth when the 2016 Olympics roll around. If it's not much I'll sit on them until 2020, or 2024, or even longer, I'm in no rush.

Just went to see this one. I must say I couldn't wait for it to finish.

It was just too similar to the first one and offered me new nothing new. It kept going over the same themes and details with painstaking repetitiveness.

I like this.. where from?

A couple of my recent purchases:

Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale, by Mo Willems for a friend having a baby shower. She asked us to bring a book, instead of a card. This came with a glowing endorsement from a good friend who's an elementary school teacher.

In Sunglass Hut, the tag said Dark Blue Rubber. On RayBan.com and anywhere else i've seen them, it says light blue rubber. Whatever they want to call them.. I love them.

A pair of Toms:

I bought these a few weeks ago, but I don't think I posted about them.

A new over-the-door shoe rack:

I have 2 pair too many for my current shoe holding situations.. so i'm replacing the one inside one of my closet doors with this, which will give me about 20+ more spaces. Next purchases: more shoes to fill this up :)

I havent watched it but why would you expect it to be different. its a story about how spiderman became spiderman. that story slash theme wont change. all the spiderman stories that deal with telling you the story about how he became spiderman will be pretty much the same with variances.

its like watching 3 different movies about how the hulk became the hulk. your going to see the similarities.

if you want an a different story about spiderman read the comic.

its amazing how much stuff you dont have when you get your own place. its like all the little annoying things you accumulate over the years that you never remember buying but need them. I remember when i moved into my first apartment I went to make mashed potatoes one night and its like crap I dont have a large bowl. then I bought a bottle of wine and was like crap I dont have an wine opener. Then I went to cut my nails and was like crap I dont have nail cutters. just basic stuff you will constantly have to be buying.

You have just reminded me to buy two items! Thank you!

Anything else you think I may have forgotten?

----------

Congrats on the job!

Thank you! The interviews required a lot of preparation. You usually get asked 4-6 questions on a variety of topics which you do not know before hand and you are expected to take around 30 minutes to answer them.

This particular job had 15 applicants, of which 5 went to interview. I'm lucky!!!

Yankees and Phillies aren't blacked out in Scranton?

They are on MLB.TV... I have YES and Comcast so I get them on tv, but I don't have MSG or FSN so on MLB.tv all four(yanks, phils, mets, pirates) are blacked out.

For those of you closely following the development of the Shrink Espresso Center...both of you should get a life!!:p

My last entry was a Breville coffee grinder, which, unfortunately, crapped out after one use. So I decided to go the whole hog, and got the Rancilio Rocky below. It weighs 161/2 pounds, is a tank, and grinds directly into the portafilter. Easy to grind only the amount one will use.

Should have completed the Espresso Center now...but the two of you who read this idiocy...stay tuned. (Or better yet, do something more amusing!):D

I saw it in 3D, I wanted to gouge my outs out even faster. The best part of the movie was the ending. The producers remade a great a series, and turned it into garbage. Why not use the same actors, and expand on the plot from the 3rd movie. It would of been better if they somehow added the Avengers theme into the movie too.

I also went to see Spider-Man in 3D this weekend. I absolutely loved it! I actually think that I enjoyed it more than the Avengers.
