Funded this kickstarter project back in January, waited patiently and it arrived yesterday. It is beautiful! And it works!

Yellowcard is interesting... I've only heard Ocean Avenue (a lot) and a few other songs... We Are The In Crowd is good, they sound quite a bit like Paramore (at least I think so). I've never listened to The Wonder Years...

Have fun!

Yellowcard has a new album coming out, so we'll see how they are - I do like their old stuff though. I'm actually going to see The Wonder Years - they're my boys. Like We Are The In Crowd (and old school YC), they're a pop/punk band. You should give them a listen.

Got a new computer for work..

X301 U9600. This is an amazing computer for the price now (~400). Needed something with more screen real estate for work. I got it in excellent condition, with 2 chargers, a port replicator and an extra 3 cell bay battery. Couldn't be happier.

and I picked up a 1.8" 128gb Samsung SSD for it. Can't believe the price was $60.

Studying for my VCP exam plus will be then going for MCITP. Have been using a spare PC at work for VMs but its just not usable all the time and would be better having a lab with me. Tried running on my 8gb MBP with 750Gb 5400rpm drive but it becomes painful after 4x VMs running so...

120Gb OWC Electra SSD & Data Doubler - I know there are cheaper caddies but I cant find a decent one in NZ. VMs will go on the SSD.

16Gb ram to max out my MBP. Should make it a dam site easier to run nested ESXi VMs.

Where can I get it for ~400?

Grand Prix 4000s tyres (x2), some Shimano brake pads, a tyre pump, 2 tyre tubes and a new bag to go under the saddle on the bike.

And went for quite a nice bike ride tonight. :D

Killzone 3 was great! Okay, not as good as the second one, but close. It was baffling how fast the game dropped in price, I remember that I bought it in a store for the equivevalent of $7 just a few months after the release.

I loved the 1st and 2nd games, I've got bored of MW3 I'll be trading it in over the weekend. But I need a good shooter to fill the gap before is get a Xbox and get Spec Ops and BF3.

Assassin's Creed III Tomahawk (got while at SD Comic-Con)
When I got home, there was a note in my checked luggage telling me they searched it... it also contained beer. Was a winning combination.
