Nice ride…
I must wonder: What do you think of the refresh?
Good question. My parents have the new full size but given your avatar you're prob asking me about the sport.
I think Lr did a bang up job on both models. They'll appeal to more in the market and the EPA. It competes directly with the cayenne with its significant weight savings and aero look. It's the bigger evoque with less aggressive lines.
And they have lost something in translation. All proper 4x4 trucks come with that tried and true body on frame steel body. Range rovers look best squared off not wind tunnel formed, yet it is the sign of the times. Buyers demand efficiency and a three ton midsized sub aint gonna cut it.
I purposefully went with this last model year as it comes with the factory kit (best looking of all versions to my eyes) which squares it off even more while still having enough grunt via the supercharged engine still being used on the next gen.
Had I wanted a slightly lifted sedan eith sporting intentions, I honestly would go with Porsche for their proven Reliability track record, and especially so since I avoid first year runs regardless of make.
I'm sure it's going to ride incredibly well and serve its newfound client base gladly.
Thanks for asking!
