$55-65k is what you'll pay for one sitting on the lot. I saved a fortune by ordering one and waiting. About a year and a half after owning mine my Dad couldn't take it anymore. He took a trip the local Ford dealer and paid $54k for one sitting on the lot.

Mine is white (2011), my Dad's is blue (2013).

Both are beautiful looking trucks!

What kind of fuel economy do you get out of it?

I do love the Raptors. First gas powered truck I ever considered trading my diesel in for. Though, i didn't bite, I still have my Powerstroke.

This new-used F150 may get traded in for one eventually, after I finish college (going back this fall, first time back in college classes in 10 years)

Mid 2014 dGPU rMBP. Price Cut and slight bump and ability for it to be called a Mid 2014 swung it for me. Broadwell is too far away. This hopefully places me right at an upgrade point for the 2nd Gen next MBP.

The Logitech K811 to replace my old Wired Apple keyboard. It also complements my recent T651 trackpad really well.

Drooling all over my iPhone at this....
Absolutely love raptors.
Still too young to drive one though. :(

Thank you!

Thank you! So far the truck has averaged 13.8 mpg's over 55,000 miles. On long road trips I can see in the mid-to-high 15's. I'm seriously considering picking up a more fuel efficient daily driver in the near future.

Just be careful not to run them too hard. Prone to frame damage among other things.

I'd like to add a little something...

There were some that caused damage to their frames.

The Raptor isn't a Pre-Runner. You can't expect to bomb through 3 foot ruts and not expect to cause some damage.

That being said - they beefed up the fame in the area of question.

I have a 2014 Silver Screw that has a been on a few Raptor runs and has held up fine.

All I have to do is wash it and change the oil.

I've been averaging about 13.8 around town too. How funny.

On longer trips I've seen 16.5 mpgs.

Bought a Harley to take to work and scoot around town.

Yeah, I didn't expect that it was going to be much better than that. Might be a good idea to get something better for daily driving.

Yeah, the frame issue has been debated to death. In short, don't travel faster than the truck is capable of. Hitting a large and deep rut, bump, berm, or whoop section at 60-70mph in a stock Raptor isn't a good idea. The guy who created most of the "frame issue" issue was traveling way too fast for situation.

I too have put my truck through some hard trails and desert driving over the years and haven't experienced any issues at all. Knowing your surroundings and pre-running a trail is always the best course of action.

You're right, 16.5 or so is right on for long flat road trips.

i went overboard and bought two stowaway bluetooth keyboards. Probably will sell one of them. These are highly rated, and I will be using with on the go as I study for the California state boards.

Based on pics I have seen around the web, it looks like it will do nicely with a 10" tablet. It's the igo/thinkoutside/dell stowaway, and they don't make them anymore, so of course the price is ridiculously inflated.

A 46" Samsung H6201 HDTV I got from Costco on sale for $599.99. I use it as a bedroom display for my Mac Mini and FIOS TV. (I replaced my 2007 40" Samsung LCD HDTV) Picture quality wise, it's a big improvement. I don't use the "Smart TV" functions so I can't comment on that..

Picked this up yesterday, now just debating if it's really worth the extra $300 to go from a 256GB SSD to 512, bump in the processor won't really do much for my uses.

to be honest you can never have enough space, i have the last year of the unibody macbook pro 15 inches and i had a 500gb SSD, got rid of the dvd drive and added another 500gb SSD, best decision, like i said you can never have enough space, congrats on the purchase!

Very nice... too far up North for me and I'm sticking with my nemmy. They'll ship to the states?

They do and they actually have quite a large following in the states. I haven't got my hands on one yet and I'm actually selling off a few pieces of my collection at the moment (Bay City Vapors SurfRider, Atmizoo Roller, Kayfun Lite v1, etc). I'd eventually like to get my hands on the new Glas mod (if they make a 650 tube) and a GP V3.

Nice set up btw!

Just received my Korean 27" 1440p monitor. Very happy with it especially for the $298.
