Couldn't help myself :) Now if only I actually had the time to play any of these games, I still have like 5 other games I still didn't play yet.

Nice! Tell us how you like the WebOS interface. :)

Really cool, probably the best interface I've used on a TV. Everything runs smoothy and there is no lag. The Magic Remote is kinda funky, but I like it. I guess the TV is relatively new so aps are limited and the LG Store is down right now lol. I chose this one over the non wifi version because of the better picture (which is noticeable). For a 20W sound system in the TV, it's not bad. Detailed high, mids, and lows. I heard parts of GTA that I didn't hear with my Yamaha surround sound. Nothing bad to say so far... Ask me again in about a week.

UE Mini Boom

Replacement for my broken cheapo 2.0 system with added functionality =) Gets the job done while at the desk, couldn't justify spending any more since i have a HiFi System and my audiotechnicas.

Just splurged and picked up the 2014 edition of the Galaxy Note 10.1. l got a Note 8.0 off the forums here randomly and fell in love with the S-PEN Capabilities. My fiance fell in love too, so just going to give him the 8.0 and upgrade!

I thought I would never go android, but the note 10.1 does everything that I tried to accomplish with my iPads. Specifically handwriting recognition for extensive note taking. I am handwriting this post right now- Also love the multitasking as I study for boards again, and l can connect a mouse and keyboard without jail breaking. Goes to show you that you really have to know what you need and not limit yourself based on perceived preferences.

Also, I had a leather book back on my Ipad 2 - 2014 edition comes with one already. :p

The deal breaker will be weight and usability . So we will see!

It is curious you would spend 500 ish on an android when you could have gotten a used microsoft surface pro. you would have had 128 gb of storage instead of 32 and the pen on surface is quite good. It would have been even less if you got the 64 gig version. They both use regular windows so you would be able to use lots of different drawing apps. photoshop, sketchbook pro ect.

If you'd ever used an S-pen device, you'd understand why. Samsung's handwriting recognition is incredible.

Posted from a Note 8.0. ;-)

Well for a couple reasons.. Mostly I don't want a windows 8 device. I have a MacBook Air and a couple windows pcs already. Was looking for something thin and light, for mostly hand written note taking. Also got it for $250 but I don't know if surface devices go that low.

250 is a good price for it. they are selling new for 479-500. which is the cost of the surface pro. I would jump on it for 250 though. Thats as cheap as the Notebook 10.1 original version not 2014 edition.

I picked myself up a new used truck this morning. This is going to be for my job, and commuting to school. The job requires I get into 61 different parking lots and parking garages all around Los Angels, and the Valley. My lifted, 4-door, long bed F-350 is just too big. And my autocross car is way too small. So its getting moved to just our long trip/ off-road/ camping truck. The Neon is going 5 hours north to indoor, long term storage (we live in an apartment, and don't have a garage anymore), and this will be my new work/daily driver. Got a killer deal on it, and I know the previous owner (as he is my boss).

For the wife. She doesn't know I'm replacing her 6-yr-old unibody MB in a few days...
