I could technically and will get these cases free of charge, but this black gunmetal color only costs $3.50 and ships right now, so I said why the heck not. Spigen's Neo Hybrid case for the iPhone 6. Can't wait to try the aluminum model when it comes out in September.

That is a nice looking case, I would have picked one up but it looks like the gunmetal is out of stock and all of the others are $23.99. You got quite a deal.

At $4 I'm willing to take the chance it won't fit, at $24, not so much. :)

How do you like it, I think it looks pretty darn slick personally!

Still has not arrived. It does look sharp.

Well I'll be getting every single case they make very soon anyway. Knowing Spigen they wouldn't make cases unless they fit, and it's not the first time reputable case makers jumped the gun with solid insider info about unreleased devices.

Just scored a really nice looking Asahi Pentax K1000 from eBay. Comes with a SMC Pentax-A 1:2 50mm lens and a case! This will be used for class, but I plan on keeping it forever. I have a Pentax ZX-30 that I could have used, but I needed a full manual camera for class and this fits the bill. Can't wait for it to get here!!

My wallet never sleeps :p Got this ridiculously expensive Manfrotto MT055CXPRO3 carbon fiber tripod as an upgrade over my old 190XPROB aluminum tripod that I've been using for a few years now. Definitely a more robust tripod which was what I needed, but not noticeably lighter. Maybe because the tubes are filled in with magnesium. At least the legs won't damage as easily as the aluminum ones I've had before. Carbon fiber is nice, but it's overpriced.

Can that cloud storage system be accessed outside of your home wifi?

Yes it can! Check it out, there is a nice vid on youtube from a guy called lon, he explains all functions. As is said the thing has mixed reviews mainly concerning big file transfers and software, but from what i have read it has gotten to a point where it is usable. And definitely a way more sensible and affordable solution for the private user than a "real" NAS i guess.. And one can always upgrade to a better device in the future ;)

Since I type in he dark sometimes..

...I got a Logitech Wireless Illuminated Keyboard K800
I'm currently spoiled using wireless keyboards, then an earlier post had a multicolor keyboard, so that got me to looking for a keyboard that was both wireless and was illuminated. The K800 should do nicely it gets here tomorrow!

Bought this guy off Swappa a few days ago so I can use it while I try to sell my 32GB iPhone 5c (also on Swappa).

First impressions so far are:
Pros:
Good OS (BB 10)
Smooth and fluid
BlackBerry Hub is awesome as are gestures, and general navigation along with multitasking and smart frames.
Beautiful screen (4.2" 1280x768)
Fast (1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 with 2GB RAM)

Cons:
Major lack of apps via BlackBerry world
BUT, it can run Android apps via APK's or third party app store (Amazon, 1Mobile, Google Play via Snap)
Camera isn't as good as the iPhone, 8MP but color accuracy isn't there and the noise is.

But I think I'll live with it till I see the iPhone 6, or my 5c sells and I take a look at the HTC One M8, but I may just keep waiting. It's not a bad device.

Brought this for my Dad. Reasonably priced Airplay speaker, typically good Bowers & Wilkins sound :p

He would find songs on his iPad then listen to them with the built in speaker :/

My first SLR camera was a Pentax ME Super (a lovely small, sturdy, solid well made camera - I learned a lot with it, and loved it); however, even then, the K1000 was legendary. Congrats on the purchase and I hope you get great pleasure form it.

B&W are an excellent company and I have several of their products, including both speakers and headphones…..

I don't have a cell phone and I've never had one, so, maybe I don't understand the whole concept, but I can't imagine changing it to another brand with a completely different OS as often as people seem to do. From past experiences with people I've known switching between Macs and PCs it's not a easy thing to do and I can't imagine that cell phones would be different, am I wrong in that thinking?

You don't have a cell phone? Wow, props to you! I wish I could live without mine. I've had a cell phone for a very long time (since I was in grade school I think), because my parents wanted me to walk to and from school everyday. Basically instead of money for the bus, they gave me a cell phone.

Man I miss playing Snake.

Not wrong, it was a royal pain getting rid of iMessage, even though I turned it off 3 days before switching phones, it took a 30 minute call to Apple, and up a few levels for them to revoke the certificate for my iPhone. Talk about a pain.

But I've used various Android phones (HTC Incredible, GSIII, GNex, etc) and iPhones (4,4s,5,5c) and hadn't tried a BlackBerry and had a friend who's a huge fan. So I bought one just to give it a run, and to use in the meantime while trying to sell my 5c.

I do it mostly so I can know how to use each OS. I'm getting my degree in cyber security, and I'm a PC/Mac/Mobile tech along with IT support at a local church that is 50/50 Mac and PC with Windows Server.

So being the resident tech guy in my circle of family/friends I like to know a good bit about each OS out there. Be it OS X, Windows, Linux, Unix, or iOS, Android, BlackBerry 10, or Windows Phone (only one I haven't owned).

I'm far from a normal consumer though. So your thinking would be correct :D

How are you liking your new tripod. I'm in the market for a set of sticks for video.. Does the column able to level out if it's vertical.

It's a more refined upgrade over Manfrotto's old 190 and 055 tripods. The leg clips that control the height of each leg are more secure and better designed as are the leg angle-adjustment quick-release buttons, which are more intuitive and easier to use. I really like it, more so than my old 190XPROB. I still feel like I paid too much for it but I highly doubt there's anything better out there. Not sure exactly what you mean by leveling the center column vertically. I don't use this tripod for video work, so I might not be able to give you any input from that prospective. The column can be set vertically or horizontally, if that's what you want to know.

Works with every iPad including the Mini's.
I photograph my sheet music with my iPhone 5 and put them in a shared folder. I then can use them on either of my iPads.
Using a real old-fashioned heavy based microphone stand, I do not feel as if it will tip over and destroy my tablet. I have been using this for a month with great success.
