Did you import? If so how much if you do not mind me asking? I just bought the classic. I would have bought the new one if I didn't have to use ebay.

Sony has stated they will be trying hard to get consoles out before christmas.

Nope, apparently I am currently living in Hong Kong and I could get it from local game stores here for as low as 199 USD ;)

It's so cold up in here right now and I've got nothing to warm my hands when I'm out doing outdoorsy stuff, so I purchased these well known Mechanix tactical gloves in coyote tan. I like anything tactical :D At $16 a pop, these should last me a while and hopefully warm up my freezing fingers tactical style.

ok, a little story first. last year (iirc), GamesWorkshop began offering their ultimate paint set at limited quantities for the holiday season. unfortunately, last year i was a bit short on cash (still, its £290!) and by the time i had enough, they were all out. this year, i got their newsletter, again advertising the paint set. but guess what - i was again short (due to my phenomenal planning skills :p ). i contacted them and asked to reserve a set till December 1st (when i get paid) but they said they were unable to do so (which kinda sucks, but understandable). anyway, December came, aaaaaaaannnnnnnddddd they had couple of sets still in stock, so:

I work in warehousing, and while simple work gloves would do the trick, i always buy tactical style gloves :D

How do you like it over the iPhone? I'm still on the 4S and it's starting to get slow, figured I'd try out the Nexus 5.

I have the 5S too and currently it's back in the box collecting dust. The only thing I miss is my son being able to FaceTime my parents but I have my MBP and iPad for that.

Just into DE shaving and purchased a Parker 91R last week. Even though it shaves much better than a triple or five blade Gillette, I'm a little disappointed in the build quality. That said, I just ordered a Merkur 38C HD. Any thoughts from you DE experts?

 UK 290 for a figure paint set? Oh Games Workshop how could you? Rossatron, I hope you have fun painting those figures. I've seen some beauts back in the day. (Remembers when I attempted to paint a couple of Skaven figures 23 years ago. They were very, uh, messy psychedelic.))

A wise choice getting the longer handled Merkur :). As we discussed earlier, I found the handle on the standard model to be uncomfortably short. The longer handle is perfect. Those Merkur blades are good, but do experiment with different blades as its surprising how different each brand can be. You will soon end up with more shaving products than the typical woman has beauty products!!!

It seems like if any store would be able to match their online price, it would be Wal-Mart.

You'd think, but the OP is right. Combine the policy with the average run of the mill Wal-Mart employee and you can imagine how those discussions go.

I was just going to post Badger And Blade, and also to tell you to avoid Reddit like a ****ing zombie plague. The most arrogant punk ass piles of **** post at reddit for the most part. I ****ing hate that site. I couldn't tolerate for more than a month.

The Merkur 38 is an awesome razor. Great weight, moderate in terms of blade angle and gap. I can honestly say it is the one razor that I can throw any blade into and get a good shave without too much thought. That being said, I find the St. Petersburg blades are a very good match for the Merkur.

Also see that you are from L.I. If you haven't been already, do yourself a favor and get to Pasteur's in the city. It's amazing!
