Finally i gathered enough money to buy this, after all this years wanting one!
Tokina 11-16mm 2.8 DX2 - Canon mount
Bought it on Black Friday in the french amazon for less than 2\3 of what is usual costs!

Have you ever used Tokina lenses before? I have used Sigma before and really like them (in some cases more than my Nikon lenses). Kind of curious about Tokina.

My last purchase:

Ordered some D'Addario strings previous to those and restrung my guitar, but I wasn't paying attention and ordered medium strings and forgot that I generally like light strings.

Did you receive it yet? I am pondering the Seagate drive for a USB3/Thunderbolt solution as a portable drive between my old Mac Pro (at office) and newer iMac (at home). Last Seagate drive I got (some BlackArmor I believe) was quite loud and I returned it for a WD. Would be nice to have that as a large backup solution.

I didn't receive it yet, but I already have the exact same one connected via USB 3.0 and it has been working flawlessly. I do use it as a backup solution only, so I don't hear any noise where its sitting behind the imac, but I imagine if you were use it as a working drive, you might hear it more. Not even sure if it has a fan.

I scrolled past a bit too quickly and my first thought was "someone is getting lucky tonight"... Looks eerily similar to the local Durex packaging. :D Last 3-5 times longer haha. Sorry...

Haha, I thought the same thing the first time I bought them years ago.

My guitar will be getting lucky once I replace the strings, though!

Yes it will, and so will you. My babies want nothing else but Elixir's.
Medium/Lights for DADGAD and Orkney tuning :)

Went into Gamestop today to simply pick up my pre-order of GT6, and while I was in there the clerk was on the phone with some man telling him that "if he wanted to buy it he'd have to get here quick" and that "even though the store is empty someone may come in and get it". When I asked what it was, lo and behold my local gamestop had 1 PS4 in stock, a used one about one week old. Naturally, I went ahead and bought it, along with GT6 and a one-year warranty. I can't actually have it till Christmas (since it was my mom's and grandmom's christmas present to me) but I am SO happy I was able to find one after WEEKS of searching.

Sounds good. I want to use it as a backup mostly. The BlackArmour one just had a fan that bothered me -- even if I am using it very little. Honestly, if built right, these cases shouldn't need a fan and am glad to hear this one probably doesn't have one.

Thank you,

I was hoping Apple TV would finally get a legit Plex app but finally gave up. That Target 20% off coupon from Black Friday helped make the decision ... picked up a Roku 3:

Picked up a Nexus 7 as a Christmas present to myself. Saw it was $199 on Wal-Mart.com so I went into the store and was angrily told by the worker that they don't price match their website. I went to Best Buy afterwards and they price matched the $199 price instantly.

The cheap Logitech LS21 speakers I have now are breaking; every time I adjust the volume knob the speakers emit a loud 'screeching' sound that is extremely annoying!!

The 623s I tried in frys did the same scratchy noise thing. Then again, so do my x540s. Logitech uses cheap volume controls :( Their quality has gone downhill quite a bit since the z5500 days.

What an annoying policy! Glad you got it somewhere else.

Awesome pick up! Mind if I ask how much a "used" PS4 is?

That used to be the policy of most stores. It's weird that Wal-Mart, which has been making a great effort to enhance its online shopping, still has this policy in place. I almost feel like the worker was either misinformed or didn't want to do the work.

It seems like if any store would be able to match their online price, it would be Wal-Mart.

Good that you went and got it elsewhere, in that case. These days, I find that most stores will even match an "online only" price.

Nice grab! I bet that person on the phone was pissed when they showed up, lol.

I really don't understand the reasoning behind that policy. Doesn't make any sense in this day and age of internet shopping being so big. I am really pleased with Best Buy, they looked at the price and within minutes they said they will match the price.
