Pretty snazzy. Doesn't play well with iOS. Not sure if Im going to keep. 1500+tax is a pretty steep pill to swallow. Mostly for something that is pretty gimped on the iPhone.

BUT, it does make driving and playing with my dog a whole lot more exciting.

Is it bad that I have no idea what this is?

Haha sorry. My desk mat is pretty worn so didn't want it to detract from the beauty of google glass.

We don't need MORE distracted drivers....

Sorry should have elaborated. Don't want you to think I was distracted. When I said exciting I meant I would put the glass on record and do normal driving. Then I would play it back on the comp. Silly yes, but its the honey moon phase so these little trivial things get me giddy.

Which I think is a big mistake, as people lose touch with driving in general and simple etiquette, along with problems that WILL happen due to the poor longevity of electronics in cars.

Personally I like driving, but people drive bad. Also people all over the world rely on others driving for them and/or other forms of public transportation.

I think it would be awesome if we didn't need to buy a car, we just open our phone and request a driverless car to pick us up and you pay for it as you use it. You can pick the size you need and time you need and it goes and parks itself when it's down or moves on to the next person requesting the car.

Imagine not having to pay for insurance or a car payment ever again. Just pay as you use. Something like this is likely to happen, and you won't have to worry about texting and driving, drunk driving, falling asleep at the wheel.

This doesn't mean is has to be an electric car, just AI for driving.

And you would never need to struggle getting a taxi ever again. Drunkenly fall out of the pub with a chick, pull out your phone, tap the app on the screen, a message tells you exactly when the car will get to you, and then the car arrives. Hanky panky all the way home..;)

I can see the advantages:D

These are just rough possibilities, tech will change altering visions people are having. I am still waiting for them to put electric/cable/fiber lines under the ground. I thought by 2000 it would be done everywhere.

The Charger is a mains powered unit. You simply stand a candle in a slot and it charges - no open contacts - its that conductive wireless charging type stuff. dead clever :)

10hrs charge gives 10hrs usage. The really do flicker like real candles and to turn a candle on or off, you just tilt it 90degrees - easy peasy. no switches or wires etc.

I really am over the moon with these (3 in a pack)

Thanks, they seem pretty cool :)

Wowzers! Lucky you!

I recently got a 2nd gen iPad Mini myself, and a little birdie told me there's a new 13in rMBP coming from Santa!

I also just got an Xbox One and a one year subscription to Xbox Live; thumbs up for next gen gaming! How's AC4? I was thinking of getting it myself :)

Once I get a new apartment though, oh man, I'll definitely be getting a new TV and Apple AirPort Extreme. I like your style!

I returned my Hero 3 Black that I got on black friday and picked up the Hero 3+ Black. (Go Pro had a cyber monday deal for a free SD card.) So for about a $100 more I got the plus seemed like a no brainer to me..

I picked up all the accessories from Best Buy (I had rewards coupons) Plus they also matched B&H price for the Frame Mount ($20) and the the Clamp mount ($40) So I saved about $30 :D

Did you hear? Someone got pulled over for using their Google Glass while driving. The person took them to court, but the fine remained.

Yowch - you are doing some miles then (or not many but like to drag off the lights at every junction) ;)

We filled up the monster about a month ago (best part of £90) and I've still got just over half a tank (and she does around 22ish mpg) :)

About a month ago? That's insane! How many miles do you do a day?

I do a lot of miles, my girlfriend lives 37 miles around from my home and place of work and I sleep there pretty much every night. My lunchtimes will consist of driving from work to my house (3 miles) to pack a bag and grab some food so when I finish work I can go to the gym and then her house! Most my weekends are spent going to my football matches which could be a maximum of 40 miles away and going for meals with friends/girlfriend. The commute is what ruins my fuel consumption and also my stress levels.

What do you drive?

Keeping this on topic, I bought £10 worth of casino chips last night. Went up to £30 and lost it all. Before anyone says, quit while you're ahead and so on. I'm not in it for the winnings, well it's always a bonus when I win but I'm mainly in it for the adrenaline rush of putting on a few big bets and simply, passing time and having fun with friends. Plus, at my casino, the dealers are really pleasant and like to chat.

Driving the 3.0l V6 Peugeot 406 Coupe :) Hardly drive at all (only go out of the house for doctors and shopping to be honest). Ive done 95 miles since fill up and got about half a tank left (I so miss my 50mpg Passat)

and for the poker - thats a great way to play, knowing its to pass the time, and to have fun. I play that way now (not often tho) (I worked in online poker so I've seen how easy it is to get sucked in and 'bet the farm' so to speak).

I can't wait for crimbo day - I got lots of stuff purchased that I can't post here as my other half is on here too :( lol

Oh, that'll be why you don't use much fuel then! Lucky you! I'm definitely going diesel next. I need those mpg figures to be 50+.

The casino is fun, also nice to watch other people put down vast amounts of much and watch them gamble. Other people in there are nice too plus it's free soft drinks and coffee!

I've not bought one present for Christmas yet for anyone else, only presents for myself so far. Tried this on various times in the shop and just ordered it online. This just ruined me and my savings but you know what, it's a lovely watch. Parents helped me a little bit with the cost but you know, it's the time to be giving!
