Windows and Fog lights tinted today. No more fish bowl:D
<imgs>

I tinted my windows late last week as well. Even though I'm interested in law (and attending law school in the fall) I failed to do my full blown research on Mass window tint laws, thinking that the 35% limit was applicable to the four door windows of my Subaru Outback.

Took it to a shop where I was told the 35% limit was only the front driver/passenger windows and I unfortunately took his word for it. I told him I'd go as dark as I legally could so I had the second row windows and side trunk windows done to 10%, and rear windshield 20%. Also asked for a 6" strip on the front windshield, but I'm willing to bet it's nearly 8".

Long story short, in reality the front two windows are the only legal ones now. I LOVE the way it looks but the car is registered in my parents name so I have to get it redone. I feel like an idiot (as I should) but come on it looks so good!

Adding two poor quality photos for the sake of the pictorial nature of the thread.

I hope you plan on using opti-coat on that sexy car!

Thanks but nah, I still haven't decided how I feel about putting a glass-like resin on the car; I take such great care of my stuff with boutique products that I can't see the point. Plus then I don't know that I can get the same kind of depth and layering with my products if they have a resin base rather than the clear coat they were designed to work with. Chemical Guys has a similar product out now called Second Skin, but I haven't looked into it too much yet.

I've always thought of opti-coat as something someone who never ever wants to bother sealing/waxing their car does, lol. Not to say opti-coat isn't great stuff, I just don't like the idea of putting a permanent/semi-permanent resin on my car.

My very first Loot Crate. They don't ship to Ireland, so I had to ship to the UK, and then have a Parcel company ship it to me.

No issues here with the adapter, except I thought I could use my beats by Dre, but they only work for game audio, the mic does not work for chat, looking at maybe getting the xbox one headset...

The over-ear stereo one? Let me know if you do please, I have some questions about it.

Yeah, they are the least expensive out of the ones out right now, I wouldnt buy them if I could use the mic on the beats. I'll post once I get them.

The laws are so vague in Mass as far as tint. I did 35% on all glass except rear window is 20% makes windows appear darker and with the black interior even darker.
Im surprised as a life long mass resident I can't place that bridge? Subi looks good.

The laws are vague aren't they! I've seen countless Subarus with windows as dark as mine, but I bet most are factory installed glass following federal regulations, making it legal. Which is a massive load of crap IMO. Honestly I'm probably only getting the two rear door windows redone to 35%, I already like the way it looks way more than I expected.

Also that bridge is Mount Hope in Bristol, RI. I took that on the way to RWU Law yesterday morning.

Picked up a years membership of the National trust yesterday. Gives me lots of places to go take pictures in the UK without having to pay quite as much. If you go 4 or 5 times it works out cheaper. An example of where you can go. Croome Park.

More examples will appear over in the POTD thread.

So pretty :)....... I bought a 2013 last year and love it. I was going to get a Audi but couldn't justify paying double.

Just bought by parents a 2014 Nissan Sentra. They had been driving my 2001 Jetta GLI that had become a money pit death trap.

OK...one more absinthe spoon...and a charming T shirt.

For those so incredibly bored they'd like to see some other spoons recently purchased, and a brief (but remarkably boring considering it's brevity) description of my first experience with absinthe see Post# 1838 on this thread.
