If these were readily available I would have bought one. I stopped by the ford store, and the amount of games they were playing made me walk out the door

I think MSRP for my configuration is approx $40k USD. Almost every dealer is adding a markup that ranges anywhere from $1000 to $7000. It's pretty obscene.
After it's all said and done it's going to run me about $45,000. I'm paying MSRP and markup. It hurts a bit since I've never paid a markup let alone MSRP before. But, I'm getting rid of my truck and I'm getting more than what I paid for it so I think of it as playing with house money.
Hey man, I gotcha. I think it's gonna be awesome!
Where are they built?
They are actually being built in Germany (pretty sure) It's a global release so they get built there and shipped here.
My last AWD turbo car was my Evolution 8. There's something about doing an all wheel drive drift that makes me giggle like a school girl.
Can't wait to take this car to a road course.
Yep.
People are getting fed up with the way dealers are handling the sale of these.
$45k for a Ford Focus?!?!!
That's fancy.
What are the dealers doing with the RS?
I just have an SE model in Race Red, black rims and the hatchback. I considered an ST but didn't want the added cost for a 2 mile commute...
Yep, and it has almost as much horsepower as a 5.0 Mustang GT. 350 hp to 435 hp, respectively.
What are the dealers doing with the RS?
Wow! That's ridiculous. They are extremely hard to get an allocation for.
When they do some dealers are adding an ADM (additional markup) of up to $7500.
One was telling me they wanted $5000 over MSRP!
Wow! That's ridiculous.
Finally went ahead and bought my first iMac. I used to only use Mac Pros and Macbook Pros, so it'll be interesting to see how this machine will fit in. I went back and forth between the top i7 model with m395x and the one below it with the m395. From all I've read, the gain I would have gotten out of the "x" variant isn't much, so opted to save those 300+ dollars and invest them in third-party RAM and an external SSD instead.

Oh man, what a great machine. But your mistake was not getting an internal SSD.
External SSDs work great as boot drives over TB...Oh man, what a great machine. But your mistake was not getting an internal SSD.
