If these were readily available I would have bought one. I stopped by the ford store, and the amount of games they were playing made me walk out the door

I think MSRP for my configuration is approx $40k USD. Almost every dealer is adding a markup that ranges anywhere from $1000 to $7000. It's pretty obscene.

After it's all said and done it's going to run me about $45,000. I'm paying MSRP and markup. It hurts a bit since I've never paid a markup let alone MSRP before. But, I'm getting rid of my truck and I'm getting more than what I paid for it so I think of it as playing with house money.

Hey man, I gotcha. I think it's gonna be awesome!
Where are they built?

They are actually being built in Germany (pretty sure) It's a global release so they get built there and shipped here.

My last AWD turbo car was my Evolution 8. There's something about doing an all wheel drive drift that makes me giggle like a school girl.

Can't wait to take this car to a road course.

Super exciting. Can't wait to see it and hear your impressions.
I've done the car thing seemingly forever...from Honda Si's to S2000 to WRX to STi back to Si and now to full boring mode in a Subaru Crosstrek XV. If Subaru would bring back the WRX hatch, I'd have a hard time staying away.

Yep.

People are getting fed up with the way dealers are handling the sale of these.

What are the dealers doing with the RS?

I just have an SE model in Race Red, black rims and the hatchback. I considered an ST but didn't want the added cost for a 2 mile commute...

$45k for a Ford Focus?!?!!

That's fancy.

Yep, and it has almost as much horsepower as a 5.0 Mustang GT. 350 hp to 435 hp, respectively.

That's insane. The performance that is. I've personally never heard of the model but that sounds like a fun one! Enjoy it

Wow! That's ridiculous.

I was seriously thinking of getting a Shelby GT350R until I heard they are asking upwards of $15k markup!

The Focus is a good compromise. I can fit my daughter's car seat in the back and have a hatchback to store some gear. My goal is to get to 400 awhp and 400 trq!

Over the years I've found that's more than enough for me in the twisties.

Uh... People need to stop posting Chan Wai Man posters at eBay and emovieposter (not that this will stop me from buying them...I'm still looking for two more and some lobby card sets.)

Now if Shaw Brothers (or whomever owns this Sun Chung triad film) would actually release Godfather's Fury, I'd be quite happy. I'd love to see a pure 70s Sun Chung crime film (he made a few) starring CWM.

While my pursuit of an education is noble and just (and frakking expensive), it cannot put my Shaw Brothers addiction on ice.

Finally went ahead and bought my first iMac. I used to only use Mac Pros and Macbook Pros, so it'll be interesting to see how this machine will fit in. I went back and forth between the top i7 model with m395x and the one below it with the m395. From all I've read, the gain I would have gotten out of the "x" variant isn't much, so opted to save those 300+ dollars and invest them in third-party RAM and an external SSD instead.

Unexpected happy surprise. As my favorite band Bolt Thrower are on hiatus; a new band -Memoriam- has formed with BT's original drummer, Andy Whale. So that means t shirts! I haven't owned a BT related t shirt in over a decade so it's very welcome. And I am so delighted Whale is back on the scene.

Speaking of t shirts, the single most O.T.T. grindhouse design I've ever picked up for Sonny Chiba's Street Fighter.

Oh man, what a great machine. But your mistake was not getting an internal SSD.
