I'm looking forward to the steep learning curve as it will require completely different techniques as compared to using the old manual lens. Hopefully it should be a lot easier now.
I'm sure it will. The range of shots I was able to get once I got my 200-500 Nikon increased dramatically. As did the weight in my camera bag!

When you work out how to do it let us know. I had to turn my AF off on my camera, choke it down for deep dof and hoped I zone focussed right... I hope at longer distances to the subject then the AF will help...
And OI! My GAS is building nicely thank you without this!

Over the past week, I've sourced a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gen iPod for my collection. All disassembled, cleaned, polished and fresh batteries installed. New office setup will be Apple-themed with several G4s and posters on display. The iPods will take their place on a feature shelf above my desk. Now to score a 5th gen at a decent price, and a 1G when the prices come down.

Thanks....I just want to add an ultra wide, and maybe a longer prime, then I'm done.
It's a Slik mini tripod that I've had for about 10 years. I also have a cheap and nasty larger tripod, which I may upgrade at some point, but I don't use tripods much.
