It's a Slik mini tripod that I've had for about 10 years. I also have a cheap and nasty larger tripod, which I may upgrade at some point, but I don't use tripods much.

I recommend a Gitzo traveler when you do. They're simply the best.

Just picked up a Canon G7X Mark II. Tired of lugging my Sony DSLR around and with our twins two years old now and more active, I wanted something that would be light and easy to take photos with but much better quality than my iPhone (and much better quality than my old DSLR as well).

Just sold my rx100 II and used the money to get the g7x ii for about the same price.

Believe it or not, it is happily running Window 10 Pro very smoothly.

My daughter needed a new phone, and I had planned on getting her a new 5s. But apparently my carrier is discontinuing them and possibly the SE's, so I got me an SE, and she's taking my old 5s that still has AppleCare on it for ~2 more years. I really dig the SE's size, and it feels like it's much snappier. And now the whole family has converted to make it so much easier to manage and support.
