A new bed platform. I was going to make one but I would have had to spend 250 on the plywood and several hours of time so amazon had this on sale for 160 and I did not have to have it delivered to my house like I would the bed I built. I did make a headboard I was going to make a taller one with more Artwork but I would have had to spend 85. For the plywood to do it and I had this is a cutoff since I had to buy a new mattress my wallet was hurting. Far easier to build then ikea

They are great. As long as you have plenty of light. The f5.6 can be a bit limiting at times, but the cost difference to an f4 is more than my hobby can justify.
Certainly gives me better reach than I had.

I have lots of travel this year and I am making it my resolution to go all carry on at all costs. I don't care that backpacks look less elegant the rollies. After running through cities with luggage I want it all strapped in.

After much research I just grabbed this Tortuga Setout bag with the packing cubes. Gonna be tight to fit a months worth of stuff in, but I will also bring a light duffel as my personal item just in case.
