We have been debating whether or not to redo our bathroom. It is new from 2010, but not to my taste. Decided to hold off but I went through with the ultimate upgrade I have been waiting years for.

Brondell 825 futuristic booty washer with heated seat, on demand never ending hot water, and dual wands. Ever since going to Asia I have coveted these but the renovation was always right around the corner

For the last X years I've been using like a $13 IKEA Grono desk lamp:

I've always hated that it wasn't dimmable, as I like the aesthetic of the lamp; the 400 lumen, 2700K bulb is great during the day but just too bright at night, so I started poking around IKEA's site to see what my options were.

I found that they now have a smart lighting series and they sell a bulb with the same E12 base, same 400 lumens, and same 2700K temperature as my regular bulb. However, it can also run at 2200K or 4000K, and is dimmable. I had to buy the bulb ($15) along with a wireless remote ($15), but I'm really, really happy with it.

Setup was very simple, the changing color temps are nice, and the bulb can dim pretty low, and now I can turn the light on and off with the remote instead of reaching behind the desk. The remote feels very high quality and comes with a magnetic base. The base itself is also magnetic but comes with screwholes as well as 3M double sided tape to mount under your desk or wherever. The fact that the base itself is magnetic was a pleasant surprise, I didn't even have to use the double sided tape to stick it to the bars under my desk.

Also I *think* if I download their app and buy another piece of equipment, I can also do multi colors but I'm not sure. Don't need to though so doesn't matter.

Just ordered this on Amazon. The Fiio Q5. It's a portable headphone amp/DAC with dual AK4490EN DAC chips, removable amp module, and DSD capability. I have a good desktop amp setup, but need a portable one. I've considered others, like the Chord Mojo, but I like this versatility of this one and I've had good luck with Fiio, so I hope I enjoy it. :D
