Just got back in town from a trip to find my new gray little assistant.

I purchased the Lego White House and decided to pose it along with the bobbleheads that I have so far of the presidents. I'm just started collecting the presidential bobbleheads and please no political comments for I'm just collecting them as a hobby. I plan on building the U.S. Capital and will be taking a way better picture of everything when it's done.

Third from the left looks like Robin Williams to me!

iPhone X 64GB.

Originally got the 8+ but returned it be- let me finish... because coming from the 7 I just couldn't get used to the larger form, but also couldn't just let go of the portrait mode. I accidentally told the employee "264" instead of "256," so I guess on the flip side I spent less than I was about to.

I've been chasing this in black since October (it's been OOS everywhere consistently since then), and my local Ikea said they'd have them in stock the next day. That morning, they didn't have them, but another one reasonably close did. Get there, pay for it and go to pick it up - surprise! - they don't really have them. Nothing other than a "Sorry, want a refund?" So I bought a white one and painted it. Kind of soured on Ikea after this.

For my wife's birthday - and yes, she wanted it. These things come in like 40 some colors now, which is kind of crazy.

UPS graced me with a nice surprise today, finally time to retire my old 3-speed super-mega-race bike and hop onto a Canyon Spectral instead

I hated the looks when it launched in december but it has grown on me and it looks better IRL and the weird seatpost area does not look _that_ bad IRL.

This is going to be a random question since I only have a cruiser bike, but how comfortable is this bike for casual rides? I enjoy riding my cruiser but would also like to maybe start getting into trail riding and simply for more exercise.

That isn't my bike, but I have owned full suspension mountain bikes before. While there is nothing stopping you from cruising around town on one, they are no fun to ride long distances on. They are heavy, and wobbly even hen locked out.

Then again if you want to ride down. Flights of stairs or take the back road with broken pavement then a mountain bike is the way.

This bike is really comfortable, much more comfortable than my old bike, even on pavement since it soaks up potholes and bumps etc BUT this type of bike have a fairly aggressive riding position with a fairly long reach so your back, especially lower back will get fatigued fairly quickly if you are not in okay shape and have a fair amount of back muscles to stabilize your body, so how far you can ride it depends on your shape. Im not in that good shape now but i can easily ride +20km in the woods, uphill, downhill, over rough terrain etc so yeah, i could probably ride it +50km in a more upright position but i prefer shorter but faster rides over longer but slower rides so 20-30km is long enough for me. If your goal is to have fun and getting in shape is a byproduct of the fun then this bike is for you, if your goal is to get in shape and fun is the byproduct then i would probably choose something else.

The lockout is good so it comes fairly close to a hard tail when fully locked so no problem there. But pavement should really only be used as transport stages to your local trail or bike park with this kind of bike.

If you want to run on fairly even trails, gravel roads, fire roads or something thats not that rough, an XC bike would probably fit you better, especially when you want to use it for exercise and casual rides. Something like the Canyon Lux (new model launching soon) or Scott Spark etc etc, XC bikes tend to not have such an aggressive riding position (if you choose the right frame size) as the allmnt or enduro bikes so they are more comfortable and are lighter and more nimble.

But its hard to recommend a bike for you since it totally depends on riding style, terrain, etc etc etc etc, would be best if you could borrow a bike for a day or so and try it out and see if you like it.

Sorry, this reply was a whole lot of nonsense really, its impossible to recommend i bike for someone else ;)
