This is one of their photo editing monitors. I already have one so now I have a pair.My wife has a BenQ monitor on her gaming rig. She's been very happy with it. Great quality and a good price for it.
I'm returning the Sony 2-ch receiver. It constantly goes into 'protect mode' and I can't figure out why. It has clean power, all new wiring and properly connected and the impedance is properly matched to the speakers. Even at a volume where music can just barely be heard, it will randomly shut off. It's not overheating by any means either. So, back it goes.Sony STRDH190 2-ch Stereo Receiver with Phono Inputs & Bluetooth

I ordered this to replace it.

Indeed. It's even worse this evening after I returned home from a day trip to buy records. Now it will turn on and go right to protect mode. I disconnected everything, the speakers, the CD player, and the turntable and it still shuts itself down. How frustrating.
nice build! How much?My Mac Pro 5,1 is getting long in the tooth. I'm getting by with my 1070 and 32GB ram but my Xeon processor is holding it back. This is a workhorse though as it's a 2010 version and still going strong. I've been using Macs all my life (macbook white, mbp 13, 15, air, imac, mac pro) but truth be told, Apple's been pretty ***** these last few years in terms of quality hardware and neglecting OSX so I'm not holding my breath for the new modular Mac Pro. Today I pulled the trigger on a new SFF pc. I still work in OSX with my Macbook Air and use the Mac Pro for some heavier processing but Windows 10 Pro has been pretty great thus far so I figured it's time to put my MP to pasture and get a real gaming PC.

Today's delivery to my doorstep (from the ever great Mr. Bezos) was a 12" French carbon steel skillet.

So far so good. The Yamaha arrived about 30 minutes ago and I've put a couple of records on and tuned in a few FM stations and so far no issues at all. Here's hoping the new one will be up to snuff! Personally I've had great experiences with Yamaha's stereo receivers, and am listening to mine as I type this.
I've been so busy that I haven't even had time to season it, yet. Hopefully. I'll get to it this weekend. I've used them professionally in restaurants, but never had one this bleedin' heavy. Can't wait to drop something in it!How do you like it?
I liked the 12 so much I picked up the 8 and 10 too. Thank you for the recommendation.
A Turkey Tom? That was always a favourite of mine. I tend to go for the Vito, though. Much tastier. It’s mostly gone already

Got my first pair of polarised RBs too this week, with prescription lenses to boot - so that'll mean we've guaranteed there'll be no sunshine here for at least a few monthsSome new sun glasses for the summer!
