It's been a busy month, after buying a WiiU last month, i've added a few thigs this month.

It's never late to get great games! (although i already owned pretty much all Guitar Heros for the 360)

Package is certainly more exciting than, say, even the most daring of Cheez-It options...

I looked them up on Amazon and burst out laughing reading one of the reviews.... "delicious and perfect for when you're on the go and don't want to eat roasted scorpions on a stick."

LOL ok then, will try to remember and keep some on hand. I like vinegary snacks.

So they're like big paws? (per shape on the package). How fun!

I haven't actually had these before, but I've been listening to a podcast for the past few years in which they're infrequently and fondly mentioned. And, yeah, they're little monster paws I guess. Kinda wonder how that marketing decision was made.

"What do you think of when you hear 'Monster Munch'?"

"Monst—"

"Exactly, monsters' paws! It's settled then; these snacks will be circles with four lines coming from one side!"

I would recommend it for sure. I had a Razer Chromeback before and it was far too big, this is very minimal, sits on my desk nicely and is great to type on.

I wouldn't recommend getting the aluminium version though - a YouTube video I watched pretty much confirms that the aluminium is just a casing that sits around the keyboard. So not worth the extra $$.

Let me know if you decide to pick one up!
 
After a months-long decision process, I pulled the trigger on buying a new desktop Mac: a 2020 Mac Mini 1 TB i7, an LG 32UD89-W 31.5" 16:9 4K FreeSync IPS Monitor, and a Crucial 32GB RAM kit.

Time to sell or repurpose the 2010 iMac.

I thought long and hard about another iMac. In the end I decided it was too limited on screen space, and significantly more expensive than the Mini, without any advantage for my purposes. I don’t really need a dedicated gpu. Of course if that changes, I’ll add an eGPU to the Mini.

Everything should arrive and be set up in another week or so. I‘ll post the obligatory pics then.

With the "Stay at Home" orders, I've been an online shopaholic purchasing things I don't need... haha
This item arrived from Detroit MI... and with their issues with CV... it took 2 weeks to get to me. I know.. "what is it?" lol... I play bass guitar... it's basically a device I wear on my strap that vibrates to simulate playing live on stage... basically a back massage... LOL. Very useful when I gig on ampless stages... which is getting to be the norm now days with isolated IEM's (in-ear-monitors).

Ah, Monster Munch... I reckon these days they should now be called Mini Munch. I swear I used to struggle to get a single one into my mouth as a kid and your eyes would immediately start watering - the pickled onion bags were hardcore compared to the beef ones. A true playground apprenticeship for those late night curries as you got older... These days though, they seem smaller and much milder - inflation and E number concerns I guess. (And let's not start on Wagon Wheels...)

The new Mac Mini arrived yesterday and is up and running. With a 32" 4k monitor, my soon to be retired 2010 iMac i7 looks, well, dated.

Simple things like being able to unlock it with my Watch are really nice.

We'll see how it goes with Catalina. So far, so good.
