Been reading a lot about Philly's Vedge. Decided to pick up their cookbook. Generally, I make a recipe or two out of these vegetarian / vegan / raw cookbooks and put them aside for awhile before diving back in. This is one restaurant I would like to visit after more important obligations are taken care of.

As for the movie, yay! Celestial are finally posting more movies to iTunes (2 a week). This week saw one of the last Sun Chung films I would ever except to be posted, My Rebellious Son. It's a sweet movie and very different for SC. I am just surprised at the choice. I hope they post at least 1 more Sun Chung film in this current wave, would LOVE either Judgement of An Assassin or The Deadly Breaking Sword to appear.

Celestial seemed to have looked at my recent Shaw Brothers purchases and decided to release them digitally. Spiritual Boxer is the second SB film I've bought in the 5-8 weeks that has now popped up on iTunes. So no more dvds.

I love the opening 8 minutes showing 'real' spiritual boxers performing for the Empress Dowager. The rest of the film not so much.

I wonder what will be their second movie release this week? Fingers crossed it's a great one.

Grainy night pic but it works.
My wife and I were at a local Golf Tournament last night and like at most of these events that sell raffle tickets I'll buy a few. Then there was a silent auction going on as well, I then noticed a Phantom 3 Professional that noone had big on yet. $1,000 starting bid was a little up there but I'm thinking if noone else makes a bid I may put my name down since these things are around $1250ish on Amazon + tax so I could save about $300 and I've really had an itch for one since the 4k model came out.
I waited until the last minute when they were coming around and taking the silent auction bid sheets and jotted my name down and told my wife..... "Hey you look good tonight, I just spent a thousand bucks, don't hurt me."
I had almost completely forgotten about the raffle ticket/door prizes, 2-3 minutes later a friend of mine says you may want to go check your tickets and see if you won anything. So I walk over and then see a Phantom 3 Standard, I kind of laugh to myself and think yeah right. So I go check the winning ticket and sure enough, I won it as well off of a $4 raffle ticket.

So, long story long. The standard is still in it's box, may get sold but the Professional is quite fun to fly and the photos and video it takes is pretty damn good.

Topping it off I notice that the controller will perfectly hold a full sized iPad Air for the monitor.
