Its been a couple of years since I went to the Motor City Comic Con. So I'll be attending next week.
Bought a third party refurbed 2012 quad core i7 Mac Mini for less than the current base model. Seemed like a good deal. This will replace my wife's old all in one HP.
I have installed 16Gb RAM I had spare, and have ordered a 480GB SSD and Samsung S32D850T 32" 1440P screen to go with it.

Does that speaker also scream out "WELCOME TO ALTEC LANSING" when you turn it on? I have a similar speaker from them and that's really the only thing I don't like about it.
Not sure as it has still not arrived! Groupon deals may be cheap, but boy are they slow it seems! Should arrive Saturday according to tracking (although already in my state!).
Technically not my last purchase, but it arrived today. 2016 rMB, 1.3GHz m7, 8GB, 512GB storage. I have to say I am a big fan of the space gray color on this thing

Upgraded: Enter The Dragon and bought the cheaper no frills version of Shout Factory's Bruce Lee blus.
Other Bruce stuff too: replaced a couple of books I had years ago, think I'm ready for the philosophies now.
Also Wizard of Oz 2017 calendar for mom. An annual tradition. I hope it continues for many more years.

I contemplate buying one to take my protein shake to the gym/work and keep it chilly, are they really that good? Can they be put in the dishwasher?
Also not sure on choosing standard or wide mouth..

The Explorer is the model I tend to buy, and I find it excellent; as they seem to get lost (or, occasionally stolen), I find myself replacing them fairly regularly. Enjoy it, anyway.

My Seiko SSC051P1 arrived today from Creation Watches. Considering I only ordered it on 6th May and was delivered from Singapore then thats a very fast delivery. No import duties to pay either.
Possibly one of the best smartphones ever created. I have been with Apple forever and still a huge Apple device fan as every other piece of tech is mostly apple. Played with this phone in TMobile for half an hour and I was converted.
Absolutely stunning display, super fast, amazing camera, and the form factor is outrageous.
I will keep an eye on the IP7 but this thing will be hard to leave.
