Needed a GPS to get some of the caches that were out in the boonies where the cell phones didn't get reception, and this fits the bill. Still getting used to it, but we were deep into the woods and were getting rock solid locations even under heavy tree cover.

Got a couple of Monoprice thin short HDMI cables as I was fed up with the usual heavy thick 6' cables that pull my Mac Mini off the table. Got the cables through primecables.com in Canada.

1.5 feet is the shortest size that works with my setup which has the Mini between two monitors. One cable could actually be 1 foot as a mini DisplayPort to HDMI dongle is also used.

The cables work properly but are stiffer than expected, HDMI uses 19 wires. I also have a more flexible thin 5' HDMI cable from a dollar store that works OK but has a minor issue (pin 19 Hot Plug Detect doesn't work).

Picture shows the thin Monoprice cable next to a couple of regular thickness HDMIs.

I've never been impressed with their sound quality. They leak too much external noise and almost nonexistent bass.

For some times is the best on this size !!

And my ears finally do not hurt!

For cancel noise like a airplanes I have the comfort 35 Bose ! :)

I ️ my AirPods !

Not just on the flights, even when I'm out and about I don't like the external noise while listening to my tunes on either public transport or when I'm walking around.

Surface 3, saw a nice deal for the Surface 3/dock/pen/keyboard. I wanted something light and that could still do all the work my MacBook Pro could do. A MacBook is 3x the price and an iPad Pro doesn't have a mouse:eek:.
