I live in an old house so my WiFi signal was bad. My old router Asus WL-500gP v2 gave me lot of headache last month so I start reading reviews. In the end I was deciding between Apple AirPort Extreme (2013) and Linksys Velop (2-pack) and bought Linksys Velop.
I also like Ubiguiti Unifi but I think that I don't need enterprise class for my network.

My WiFi is now so much faster (average 200 mbps vs before average 20 mbps).

I purchased an iMac Pro a couple of weeks ago. I only bought the 8-core version, but I did boost up the video card. I know it's a closed system and I could had built a Hackintosh or a more powerful windows based computer, but I like the Apple Eco system and like the reliability (knocking on wood) of the iMac. I haven't had any major issues with the my old iMac and hopefully I won't with the iMac Pro. I am getting back into video editing, for I have take two college level courses in Motion Graphics (After Effects) and I'm self-teaching myself FCPX. I'm starting to dig FCPX and hoping in the months to come the dividends will start to payoff.

Here's my setup:

I see you have an x-rite color calibrator; did you have any issues with calibrating the iMac pro screen?

[doublepost=1523917944][/doublepost]just bought a used dell poweredge 2950 with a 2.66 ghz quad x 2 with 16gbs of ecc ddr2 ram redoing the raid card setup as the current one does not reconize 3tb plus drives so have on order a new card that says it can be used in unraid and the adpater cables for my old back plane as it is sas 1 and the new card is sas mini /2 plugs

I mulled over this for some time before deciding to make the purchase. Already have the Black Sub but I think the Explorer 2 is the only other one that I want in my collection. Already made the order!

Nice! If you don't mind me asking, whats the estimated wait time? I've just been quoted 6-12 months for a no-date Sub :/
