wife and I got matching chainmaille bracelets for our 33rd wedding anniversary. you can see in the pic down the center is blue and green titanium. the rest is stainless. we wanted something really small in size. we wanted to go with silver but the rings would be bigger and the cost was more hone we wanted to spend 450.00 each. its amazing how soft these are. we have a local artist that custom makes them for us.

This arrived today. I was expecting it next Tuesday or Wednesday based on the initial delivery estimation when I ordered it. They overnighted it to me instead. Very nice.

So far I don't hate it and in fact quite like it. This is in stark contrast to the Samsung Galaxy, S9 I think it was, that I kept for a literal 23 hours before I made AT&T give me my iPhone 6S back.

The difference is that this Pixel is pure Android and doesn't have a layer of Samsung apps and a layer of AT&T apps on top of it that drove me nuts.

The Google Fi cellular network seems to be decent as well, but more testing in different areas that I frequent is needed to see how well it works.

I have most of my important things and apps already setup including my two OpenVPN profiles which was very easy to do.

But so far, so good.

How does that work? It just shares stuff from a given directory using the iTunes protocol? I wonder how compatible it is?
Yeah, you point it at a directory. I haven't tried it yet (it's taking a while to get everything on there; I'm going from 18 TB of disparate drives stuffed into various machines) but I'll post back with success/failure when the time comes.

Making the jump from iOS for the last month, to OP7 Pro and now the device that I have been yearning for as I take soooooo many pics.

Absolutely loving the pure android experience compared to iOS as notifications are amazing and it has come a long way from my last play with the OS.

Did you load the Google camera APK on to it? Apparently it makes the camera much better. I dont have one, but I watch some Youtubers, and they all suggest to add it.

I did but it is sufficient at best. I take sooooo many pics and its a hobby for me and the amazingness of that display at size and 90hz I thought i could live with an ok camera.

I was wrong. I have been eyeing the Pixel line for quite some time after leaving iOS and finally took the plunge. The camera on this phone is easily the best I have ever used.

The OP7 is an amazing device but I cant live without a top notch camera.

I’ve thought about getting this. I have the Luma system and it sucks.

What are your initial thoughts?
Well, there is a bug in the software which apparently is known and yet to be fixed. I had a time getting it setup because the app on Android would not complete. I used the iPhone app and it finished the setup. But it's not an Android/iOS thing. I can't log into the admin interface on anything but the app on iPhone. I can't get to it from a computer either, Mac or Linux, any browser. I can bring up the page but it won't authenticate, says the password is incorrect even though it's not.

Aside from that, the WiFi works very nicely. Devices can connect and operate just fine. All my mobile devices, iPhone, iPad, Pixel, MacBook Air and my Linux PC all connect to WiFi just fine. I just have to use the iPhone Ampifi app to log into the admin settings of it.

I am chatting on the Amplifi forum with them about it, but no solution yet.

Edit: Well, now I don't what to believe. I just changed the password AGAIN from the iOS app and now I can get into the admin settings from the Android phone and the web page. very weird.

I bought two Logitech MR850. I’m probably way behind the times, but what a nice keyboard. My favorite feature is it also connects to my iPhone and iPad. So by pressing one of the white keys (2 or 3) its output is instantly directed to another nearby device. Then with a press of a key I’m instantly back working on my laptop.
