A Mac mini M1 to replace a mini 2014! And a nice polo!
The TV stand for the house we just moved into finally came in. Now our living room looks less empty!
And so it does me too. There's nobody quite like Alan Whicker, there's something charming about him. I've just watched on Youtube the four part series he did on the QE2, simply brilliant.
iPad Air 4 to replace my iPad 5th gen. Lovely device but ran k to my first problem last night. Went to plug in my headphones that I prefer using with my iPad and realised it’s USB-C!! I have Bluetooth headphones but I like to watch the odd video and not have headphones over my head all evening lol. Bought a dongle off Amazon now so sorted

Had to replace the Wifi card recently in my ageing 2012 MacBook Pro, but it hasn't solved the problem of wifi not turning on. So Ive bought a new Wifi card which is probably the most expensive Wifi card ever known to man, it's called a 2020 MacBook Air M1 16GB 512GB SSD

Saw some Blue Tits getting a bit frisky, and examining a nest box in my garden. Noticed the nest box is getting a bit rotten so bought them a new one.
Didn't like the white interior & exterior so gave it a lick of Farrow & Ball 'Downpipe' coloured paint I had left over from painting my shed. Can't believe the Blue Tits have a F&B painted house!!!

Lol. I painted our blue tit house as well as Mrs AFB didn’t like the colour. Need to put it up soon. We had it up at our old place and had a family the first year. We were so happy watching them.

Thats a nice looking TV stand...are yall going for the farm house look? I know the wife is into that. We just picked up a dining room table this week, I'll post a picture soon.

Finally got a "big" torch. Those little sharpie-sized compact ones are very convenient but sometimes you just want a lot of light. As a bonus, it both charges from USB (micro? mini? one of those) and will discharge via a USB type-A (i.e. it will charge a phone, etc from the internal 10K mAh battery).
Would you be kind enough to post a link to where you bought that? I did a search, but can’t find one with the handle and tripod. Thank!
Heh. I have no idea where it's available for US/EU/Anything-Not-in-Thailand. It came from China, via a local marketplace site (like Amazon, but specific to SE Asia)
Ok, I get multiple results for the same thing, if I search for 'xhp70 tripod' on AliExpress, which I believe is a viable option for US/EU buyers?
HA HA who you telling. I am military and everytime we move it means new courtains, new blinds, new rugs to fit the rooms, new stuff around the house. Lol that’s exactly how it is. I’m fine with what we already got, but the wife on the other hand...
Almost finished building, it’s pretty tall, so I’m using it as a standing desk. Measured the height with a tape against the wall and then practiced how my arms would be @ that and it works perfect luckily, but it’s also ikea so I could return it if it didn’t work out. Not bad for $149.
