A true classic! I love mine, and always have a backup or two in case it gets misplaced.

Thanks for your comment, nice to meet another Caran d'Ache user.
Eversince my Architecture studies (early 70s), I've always had Caran d'Ache and Koh-i-Noor.
You know what they say: "Leave it to the Swiss" :)

'unopened' eBay listing. Was resealed, updated to 15.7.x and battery at 100%. I'm assuming battery has been replaced, the screws are at slightly different height, hopefully genuine parts were used. But it is in 'new' condition.

Bought as a keepsake as it's my favorite iPhone design, debating whether to daily it until the 15 Pro comes (sell Pixel 7 now to fund). Though the iOS UI is too big for this screen now.

Edit: doesn't work with my Series 6 watch, so will not use it. In to the drawer to pull out and admire time to time.

Plenty of other good things to do with tongs.
Picking up dirty socks. Pulling out nasal hairs.
Maybe not!

Tweezers are more appropriate for nasal hairs, I would have thought.

Swiss Army knives come with a lovely sturdy little tweezer.

However, it struck me - watching cooking videos - that I didn't have cooking tongs, and that, for long strands of pasta, they are perfect, or, rather, a lot better than the balancing act with two ladles I had been attempting when fishing long strands of pasta from their cooking water. Yes, you can also drain them, but I like to try to remember to reserve a cup (British cup, Le Creuset mug, not American "cup") of pasta cooking water first.

I have an attachment on my beard trimmer to deal with them.
As you probably know, older men don’t go bald. The hair just leaks through your nose and ears.

With the recent demise of my beloved Honda Izy petrol mower I have switched to a 36v cordless, and as I already have lots of Makita tools and batteries I have purchased the Makita DLM382CT2 which comes with 2 x 5amp batteries and twin battery charger. Plus Makita currently have a redemption offer which this mower qualifies for two further 5amp batteries free of charge.

Needed a new pot set, pretty good deal considering it was 70% off. Also got a 256GB 10th gen iPad in silver with the Logitech combo keyboard/case.
