Sena Outrush R modular bluetooth helmet, for me and one for my wife. Tired of being out on the motorcycle and not being able to talk until we are stopped somewhere

Sold my M1 Max MBP16 as I want to move to a desktop instead. I still have a M3 Air as my portable if need be. So ordered my new computer....

And wanted to try keep it as dust free as possible, so picked up the Spigen stand......

A couple of Thunderbolt 5 Pro cables so I can clip them to my desk for connecting drives and accessories without having to reach round the back of the computer each time......

And a Twelve South Desk Pad:

And finally, a SlyPod Pro monopod, which has a built in electronic slider. I have a macro probe lens for my iPhone so want to use it alongside that to get some nice shots. Also have a DJI Pocket 3 that will work nicely with it too...

Currently looking into a decent lightbar to put on top of the monitor, and I think I'm pretty much done!’

Awesome. I just did almost the same thing. Last week I got a Mac Studio M4 Max 16 core 64GB 4TB.
27” Studio display. AppleCare. This is replacing a 2019 iMac (Intel).

This is really great. I’m working on a book. It is not a huge project. It used to take a little while to export a test PDF. Now it happens in a couple of seconds.

I also use the Affinity apps. They used to take a while to load on the i9. Now they pop up in nothing flat.

The only issue I had was hooking up the old ScanSnap scanner. The software is only for Intel so I needed Rosetta. But that loaded instantly and the scanner works fine.

Mine arrives Thursday, and then I'll set up over the weekend.
Im like an excited child! lol

Yeh I'm about £5k down.
Feeling a bit guilty so asked the wife if she wanted a new iPhone 16 to replace her aging 12.......but she wants to wait for the 17, so gives me some time to 'recover'........ lol

Will be a busy Saturday for me setting everything up! Although I have a backup of the system this is replacing, I want to start afresh with the Studio. Have my MacBook Air to use in the meantime while I get up and running.

Corne v4.1 from Aliexpress, one key wasn't working, had to press down the surface mount component into the pad. Will solder if it stops working again. I can't perfectly touch type and this having blank keycaps and 3 layers, gonna take some effort..

Using Monkeytype with fail condition on single error to learn.
