Turns out the retailer got my prescription wrong in order to upsell me lenses i didn't need. I've had constant headaches as a result.
So i've cut my losses and cancelled the order. I'm also done with Luxottica brands/stores in general having done my own research.

Opted for these instead. Pricier, but lenses are included for free. Hopefully second time lucky 🤞

Once you've found a good opticians, stick with them. I've used a few over the years, one major national UK High Street chain sold me frames that turned out were too small for me. Another tried selling me expensive contact lenses that gave me blurred vision. Eventually I found a good one that supplied me with the correct frames, lenses and also contacts that give me great vision, and I'm sticking with them.
A good optician/optometrist (and, over the years, I have had occasion to visit many) is absolutely vital to maintaining your vision, and the health of your eyes.

Agreed. its a pain when they don't get things right or have ulterior motives. Vision like most things to do with health shouldn't be messed with. But thats a rant for another day.

2 Cup warmer’s - always hot/warm espresso at the degree I chose mysef.

Got this size 10-11 days ago - perfect to my desk.

Got the below today to the bedroom.
Never again sipping lukewarm or cold espresso again.

Must give credit to Ember Mugs for firing the idea for me.
But with these Cup warmers I got away with maybe 20-25% of the price, comparing to 1 of the cheapest of the pricy Ember mugs.
And can still use my great Klean-Kanteen mugs, that ever won't break.

Agreed.

Actually, I feel the exact same way about the 11" - or the 12" - MBA.
If Apple brought out a lovely new 12" MacBook with updated specs and at least two ports I would want to be first in line to snatch one up pronto! I am still loving and occasionally using my 2017 12" MB. This machine is just the right size for travel and light, casual usage at home......

Amen to that; a passionate and profound amen to that.

For espresso?! That looks big enough to keep a “Mr. Coffee” pitcher hot.
Yes, the bigger ones can keep heat more then for cups for sure. My priority is cups, but it goes fast to warm up water in whatever etc. too - lot of possibilties with it.

This arrived yesterday and wow, is it nice. It replaces a 27" 1080p curved monitor that was starting to go bad; I could hear a high-pitched noise coming out it.

Since this is flat and I've used curved monitors both at home and work, it'll take a couple of days for my eyes to get used to a flat display again.

I have a dual monitor setup and after seeing the ASD and the 1080p monitor next to one another, I decided to order a second ASD. This way they will match in every way.

Swooped the Amazon M4 MacBook Air from Amazon in Midnight 512/16GB and will be handing down my M2 (on the right) to my dad.

Super impressed with this matte anti-glare screen protector that I put on both machines today too!

A 2 pack of easy to install anti glare screen protectors for $18 was well worth it. Nice soft screen without glare and some added protection for the fingerprints too.
