new MBP!!!

heres some cellphone pix of my new MBP i just got last week!

the specs: 17" hi-res matte display, 2.6 ghz SR c2d, 2 gb memory, 200 gb hd @ 7200 rpm, incase black case, and a nifty white sony smu-m10 usb mouse :eek: !!!!

if you are in the US you will have no problem getting it however im hearing its not yet avalabile in Canada.

Yesterday I bought a used Mac Mini 1.42Ghz, 1GB RAM, 80GB hdd, no wifi or bt for $240 USD. I'm going to install it in my car with a 7" touch screen for mobile iTunes :)

The mac mini feels faster to use than my 1.8Ghz/512MB G5 20" iMac. Probably because of the 1GB RAM in it.

Today I'm heading to my local shop to buy a new top-spec 20" iMac for the in-laws. I'm sick of fixing their PC when they get spyware, viruses, etc... MAC TIME for them.

Woah! Congrats, Cybix! Post some pics of the car setup when you get it ready. How did you score that mini so cheaply?
