To get back to posting concepts, I made the white transmitter go with the rest.

Here is my concept for the new mac mini. it is based on reports from sites like Gizmodo, MacRumors, and TUAW who have reported the top to be black.

The black top definitely looks sexy. I hope they do the shiny black logo and shape the edges more like the current 'Books.

it took me a while to come up with a suitable tag-line. i may have mis-fired on it.
i tried to play on the net-book idea, small laptop, as many people have hackintoshed (?) their own netbook.

if apple were to release anything such as this they would, probably, make sure that it ran their own software well.

Macbook SILVER and WHITE

I miss the "white" in macs. And i don't like the new black keyboard, every non-apple normal notebook has a black keyboard. So "think different" has become "think like all the others"?

I don't know how to do photoshop but I'll put my 2 cents into this discussion. How about the iFridge? A state-of-the-art brushed aluminum refrigerator with a 12-inch or so OS X-enabled touch panel for recipes, internet access, a great weather display, whole house automation control, etc., etc., etc.

Just a thought! :)

more screen, less wasted space...

A new iPod nano??
nanocoolweb.png

Two decent concepts in my opinion both shaped in a typical iPod way, in fact I think they should totally get rid of the click wheel as well as the iPod touch brand, and move on solely with touchscreens, albeit with physical play/pause & forward/shuffle buttons on the side. With the nano being flash based and the bigger 'classics' with a high capacity hard drive.

the thing is though...some people do not want to always use a touch screen, and a click wheel really is a great to change songs and stuff without looking up from what you are doing.

also for being in a pocket.
you can easily change the volume, and actually know what you're changing a song.

i don't think apple will ever get rid of the click wheel.

I just think that the click wheel is iconic. Whenever someone sees that wheel, their minds automatically go to iPods and Apple. I don't think Apple would be too quick to give it up.
