Pretty cool...except for the first gen Touch ;)

That would make the remote pretty expensive, though.

Hah, yeah, I could only find the 1st gen Touch docked. Can you tell I'm bored today? This stuff's pretty fun though. Never tried it before.

As far as the remote, my mockup would simply make it less overpriced, imo. But I doubt Apple's going to be using aluminum for their tiny things, unfortunately.

Agreed, but I doubt they'd sell an aluminum remote for $19. They'd definitely spike that up

Quite true. Seeing as how cheap pieces of plastic and silicone for iPod and iPhone cases are usually $29, I'd think it would have to be that price or more.

I don't imagine a radical departure for the Mac Pro, but more of an evolution.

The cheese grater front gets the "tiny hole" look of the MacBook Pro speaker grilles and the stealth blended power button. Loses the plastic trim on all of the ports.

The logos on the side are shiny black. That's it. Subtle and sharp.

I may take a crack at it...

I just can't imagine a Mac Pro family member with slot loading drives, it's not part of the family history!

The mac pro looks dated. I'm sorry but it just does.

Compared to?

I think it's a classic design. I don't see the need for it to be revolutionized, just pushed into the future a little.

I honestly don't know what Apple has planned, I really can't imagine a better designed case, inside or out.

I agree. Although it's a classic look, so were the last PowerBooks and other designs, but things need fresh looks. Updating the Mac Pro with the shiny black apple logo and other minor details simply matches it to Apple's latest design schemes. Apple's usually better than that, so I'm hoping they WILL redesign the Mac Pro more noticeably. The current Mac Pro is not particularly impressive on the outside. It's a huge tower with a handle on each corner. I think Apple will be able to do better.

Fooling around again. An external hard drive made for iMac:

iMacHD.jpg

It would have the connections on the top so that the wires can go through the hole in the iMac stand, and fan vents could be on top and/or on the back. Small, white-light use indicator on the front.

New Bluetooth Keyboard with built-in trackpad that doubles as a number pad:

Glad you guys like them/it. I definitely wish I could have the keyboard! :D

I was wondering if I should have the iMac hard drive shaped exactly to the stand in the back or leave it the way it is. Hmmm.

I think it should follow the curves of the stand :)

And I also absolutely love the keyboard concept

I doubt this would stand freely unless it's weighted, but here we go:

No!!!!

Don't even suggest on making that keyboard, black and aluminum do not mix!
White and aluminum is perfect, especially with my white and aluminum iMac :D

I have been wondering when they would update the iMac keyboard to have the black keys to match the body of the iMacs and the new macbooks/airs. When they do, I may just pick one up.
