Mix of old and new. Temporary M4 setup while migrating from the M1 via Thunderbolt 4.

Apple Pro Mouse is almost a quarter century old! 24” Cinema HD Display is about 15 years old, too. 😎

I never owned one, but your mouse is familiar, but since it's older than the Apple Store, I must've seen it on display at CompUSA. 😉

I have another question ... is there a default monitor set-up so I don't have to plug in a monitor? I just want to use my iMac to Screen Share with the new Mac mini.

Answering my own question: unplugged the Mac mini monitor and it is still there on my iMac via Screen Sharing! So, now I have my new Mac mini and my iMac in two Full Screens on the iMac. The reason why I like this is that my 'regular' less demanding office work is in the iMac full screen and my Xcode simulations run on the Mac mini full screen. I know most people would rather have the dual (or triplet) screens with the Mac mini (because of the larger applications and their menus) ... but I just like the simple set-up with the iMac and headless Mac mini.

This is my combined iMac + Mac mini set-up. I am using Screen Sharing from the iMac to the Mac mini. I use the iMac for my regular iWorks applications, Mail, Messages, etc ... office work, and then slide to the Full Screen for my Mac mini 'screen' with my Xcode simulations.

I really should call this my hybrid set-up.
