I'm thinking of a setup which wouldn't be too ambitious and should be able to be made.

24" full hd monitor (wall mounted)
connected through hdmi, ps3 slim which I should be getting soon
powerbook g4 through dvi
wii maybe through component cables
and my old modded pc through vga for good measure

to round it all off, surround sound round me room!

Oh please everyone does it, seriously, look at both threads and see how many you see twice.
By your logic: killing somebody is fine because everybody does it...your logic seems flawed.

People want to see more of different setups, nobody wants to see the same setup half a dozen times, this is why we ask that people refrain from quoting images and cross posting setups.

By your logic: everyone is a murderer?

Seems that way. Seriously, how many people have posted in both threads? Ok, now those of you with your hands up, how many of you have received anything from an admin saying not to do it? No one? Ok, then. I rest my case. Last time I checked, JML42691 and NT1440 were not admins. Leave the rule-enforcing to the mods.

i love it when people put all of their computers on their desk and all their gadgets with total irrelevance just to get that perfect 'show off' pic.. even though things is rarely impressive.

end rant.

My dorm.

First photo is my 2009 Mini + Acer H233H. I don't use the crappy drafting tables that dont stay put so I bought a $50 desk from IKEA.

Second is my 2006 MacBook.

I have the same monitor, love it.
With 80,000:1 contrast ratio and 2 ms response time, I believe it's the highest quality 23 inch LCD at this moment.

So maybe you should google "macbook" and look at all the stock photos. Then that way you dont have to see all the other stuff people own.

here you go

http://att.macrumors.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=194715&d=1253121781

Where did you get the speakers for your external display? (The small ones on the display that's sitting on your glass desk)...I'm looking for a nice pair of smaller external speakers to go with my 24" Apple LED/uMBP setup. I'm looking for speakers with a small 'footprint' because the Creature II speakers that I have now are nice, but they come with a large subwoofer that takes up too much space on my desk. I don't want anything too expensive (over $200) and I'm concerned about sound quality but even more concerned with aesthetics ;) Do you guys have any other suggestions?

Depends on how small of a footprint you want...Swans M10's are BEAUTIFUL speakers, very affordable (~$120.00 after shipping), and have been rated higher than the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 system. Definitely worth checking out at least...
