Don't get it twisted i don't have a problem with him having 4 or 8...merely curious what he uses the 4 for and why they're all in one place for that matter

The iMac is only there because its getting a re-image. Going to move that to the den and be used as a family computer. Normally I only have the Mac Pro and 13" MBP, but I took home to 15" MBP this weekend from work to do a RAM/HD upgrade as well as a new OS install.Don't get it twisted i don't have a problem with him having 4 or 8...merely curious what he uses the 4 for and why they're all in one place for that matter

I like this desk. I've been trying to find the same one online but have been unsuccessful.

You're controlling two machines? Why not just use teleport and cut down to a single keyboard.
I use teleport to control my desktop and my Macbook Pro and it works beautifully.

It's a Z-Line desk. Legacy L-Desk, Model #SP200KR I believe.

Here's a blast from the past, that's me circa Oct 1984 going to Engineering school.

My 128k Mac, yes that is MacPaint (gotta be version 1.0?) you see onscreen. I used it and MacWrite for report writing, MacBasic for programming.
This was a self-portrait I took for one of my "fun" non-engineering electives, B&W Photography. I developed this photo myself in the "real" chemical darkroom.
this has to be my favorite setup, I have been thinking about downsizing to a setup type like this, but not so sure if I want to move my iMac away.
