Just some bad shots i took with the built-in flash on, obviously, just moved in and are using this temporary desk.

I am getting a new desk and an LED Apple display to connect my portable to.

Just having a debate between a corner desk or just regular one, trying to be able to watch the tv/ps3 while using the computer, what do you guys think?

Hey guys here's my new Setup
all cables hidden under the Table and connected to the Usb hub
cimg4959.jpg

Very neat setup, I like.

How do you rate those speakers? I've considered buying them because I do actually like the style of them. They are really cool. Just concerned if everything will sound "teeny". Just after a clear sound at a low volume - I've got some £20 speakers that do that relatively well, but are fugly..

It;s the Morgan range from Argos, which i don't think they have in the US, maybe something similar though.

yeah, theyre UK-based. Its this one right? http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/6212122/c_1/1|category_root|Office%2C+PCs+and+phones|14418968/c_2/3|15701365|Office+furniture|14419025/c_3/4|cat_14419025|Office+desks|14419030.htm

How much do you think shipping would run? Thats like perfect for me :D
(i would get a Ikea Galant, but its only the table-part and shipping is just as much as the desk)

Speakers are Ok for listen to music or watching youtube videos ect. But if u are a sound geek i wouldn't buy them.
There two versions of those speakers. USB and FIREWIRE. I bought the usb version because i dont want that much cables connected to may macbook pro.
Speakers are connected to the usb hub.

I really like the backdrop behind the monitor.. What are those tile things and where did you get them?

Hi that are Bambus plates i got them from the store of my parents but
we live in germany. I stick/ tape them together and mounted them to the wall...

That is probably one of the nicest setups I've ever seen. Table and the metal cover on the wall, it all matches perfectly, even though I would not like to clean that glass table up. ;)
Yeah i hate it two but usually i use that leather cover from ikea
here are some pics

Bamboo plates? They look like metal.
Could you give me an address where to buy such things? They would fit nicely in my new flat. :D

Nice display there, how do you like the size? is it too big for using the computer for long times? does it stress your eye muscles, since you might have to move your eyes more with a bigger screen?

btw doesn't your notebook get any hot sitting like that? :p

Here is my recently updated setup. I use my MacBook Pro in desktop mode with a 24" Dell Display. It works alright, but the MacBook Pro is starting to show it's age. Which is why it will be replaced with an i5 iMac as soon as they are released. Also on the desk is a Logitech Harmony One remote, Harmon Kardon SoundSticks ll, and My Book 1TB and 500GB external hard drives.
