haha I never sit there and use the mini, I usually lay back and watch some youtube videos before bed....

I have a desk (and chair lol) that I use for my macbook...
:D

Thats actually a good idea, i gotta try something like that just to get more comfortable while playing ps3 and watching hulu, and to think i wanted to buy a little sofa for my bedroom lol..
Mountain dew is awesome too :D

Indeed, I like the idea.

It'd work better with a nice 24" monitor, though.

What desk is that?

It was made by O'Sullivan industries Carnegie Bay Collection. It will be hard to find that desk as O’Sullivan Industries has ceased operations and, the desk was made about 4 years ago. Some parts of the Carnegie Bay Collection can be found online but it will not be easy at this point.

Picked up this new desk from Ikea (Mikael) and love it, did some sweet wire management and you can see maybe 1-2 wires if that.

how big is that desk (ikea says it will only fit a 19" monitor)? That actually looks like a good alt to the galant

Width: 55 1/8 "
Depth: 29 1/2 "
Height: 29 7/8 "
Max. load: 66 lb

Width: 140 cm
Depth: 75 cm
Height: 76 cm
Max. load: 30 kg

My gf has it and she loves it as well, This was the best choice for me.

Here's my current set-up, it's a work in progress though as i'm still waiting for my student loan to come through to get all my extra bits.

here's what there is already:
20" 2.4GHz iMac 1gb RAM
120gb iPod Classic
40gb iBook G4
1tb WD ext. HDD (hidden behind iMac)
50watt Laney Amp
20watt Orange Bass Amp
OD & Distortion pedals
Mini Fridge
Xbox 360 (that's downstairs atm for forza 3)

and once i get the money i'll be getting:
white macbook
32" Samsung TV
Harmon Karden Soundsticks ii (unless anyone has better suggestion for around the same price)
and a RAM upgrade for the iMac

Here is the reverse evolution of my setup... going from laptop, to desktop and laptop, back to laptop, and so on. Current setup is at the top so pretend you're time travelling.

I really like the backdrop behind the monitor.. What are those tile things and where did you get them?

That is probably one of the nicest setups I've ever seen. Table and the metal cover on the wall, it all matches perfectly, even though I would not like to clean that glass table up. ;)
