What, no whiteboard today? ;) Just kidding with you, man.

hahahaha you remember that? LOL. It's still there. I did buy some (3)
8x10 photo frames from walmart and they are on the wall opposite, just
need to get me some photo paper. Going to print some of my art to hang
up there. ^_-

I was looking at that previous setup with the Phillips light that changes the
color. I really want one! I would put it behind my monitor. But 100 bucks?
Are they worth that?

...Since then I've changed the setup quite a bit. Before I had the Apple Cinema display on a humanscale vesa mount. However the ikea desk wasn't strong enough to cope. The mount bent the desk and I was concerned about leaving it any longer.

I therefore to a trip to ikea and bought a shelf and some kitchen unit feet. With these I made a stand for the monitor like I had done in my testing rig cupboard...

since your from the UK i won't ask for links because i'm from America, but can you tell me the names of the Ikea products you used to make the new monitor stand?

the media center is an old macbook which fell down the stairs, i ripped off the screen and its now running Boxee on Snow Leopard Server. C2D 2Ghz, 2gigs, and on the side a couple of hard disks somewhere... Hooked up to 40' 1080p samsung but the macbook is having a hard time getting through that resolution with the gma950 :p :apple:

Good old 1970s or 1980s Cabasse pair of speakers and... the cat :)

after looking around on here definitely nothing special but i love it :p

havent got into wire management as of yet since the iMac just arrived. the wired keyboard makes me a little sad but the wife insisted on the numeric pad as the condition of me buying the iMac... with conditions like that i had to concede to them :)

Logitech DiNovo for Mac is wireless and has a numpad - it isn't Bluetooth however.
