Here's my current set up,no complaints at all as it does what I need it to do extremely well.I may be purchasing a HP desktop soon and 2 20" HP Wides screen monitors as well, one for the HP and one for the Macbook. The HP is a Intel Core i5 2.66Ghz,8GB DDR3,1TB HD,and DVD/CD Burner and 15in1 card reader and Windows 7 Pro for $700 at Staples,I'd like to get a pc soon anyways for a few things, and I was just going to get a laptop, but I though why not just get more performance with the money. And Yes I was going to get a high end Mac Mini but decided it would be good to have both a Mac and Windows.

Not to mention I think it's wrong to run Windows on a Mac.;)

Enough lurking in this thread for me! Time to post my setup! Apologies for the bad quality photos, I used my camcorder to get the pictures as I don't have a normal photo camera.

I use my iMac as my main computer and my PowerBook G4 as my secondary for when watching movies on the iMac or vice versa. Yes I do use an exercise ball as my chair, I have to get a real chair though, this thing really hurts my back.

I use my iMac G3 as my bedside computer, it's nice for when I wake up so that I can quickly check my emails and whatnot without having to get up and turn my computer on

The iMac is held up on 2 PowerMacs, one is a B&W G3 and the other is a G4, the other G4 you see in the pic (the one against the wall) runs my Home entertainment setup and has all my movies on it, you can see it running on my 37" T.V in the first picture.

And last but not least, my Apple Studio Display with my WIP Halo 3 ODST Rookie Helmet ontop of it., It's either 15" or 17" but I'm not sure, can someone correct me on that?

Nice setup, but why not sell all of that and get a 21.5" iMac?

I doubt anyone would buy any of this. But I do plan on getting an i7 iMac before the end of the school year while still keeping all of my computer equipment.

Whatever happens, I will never part with my powerbook, it's one of those things your emotionally attached to.

Crikey! 6 monitors in that one room. That's uber multi-tasking. I just couldn't hack that amount of (even optional) video output.

I think I could handle 6 monitors from 1 computer. 6 monitors, each from a separate computer? I think the functionality is lost at that point, at least from a conventional multitasking standpoint.

I have 6 in my office.

2 x Dual monitors on 2 machines
1 iMac for Skype, iTunes, Webex / Go To Meeting
1 that hooks up to the two servers.

My productivity hasnt been impacted by them. I am only using 2 at a time. I tried having 4 on one machine and it was overwhelming.
