Slight change in arrangement, got tired of hitting my knees against the table under my desk from my last layout. Nothing fancy, Mini gets the job done for college. My Macbooks not present but it doesnt matter, its dying:

I wish, I'm still working on getting posters but I don't have too much spare cash. 2 of them were free and the others I got over a period of months (in which I bought 4 so thats 6 total).

I would like to have a giant SNSD (Black Soshi, or Yuri, Tiffany.. or Sooyoung... who am I kidding? They're all just so hot), Ami Suzuki, BoA, or Utada poster over that door.

allposters.co.uk - they ship worldwide I think.

Pretty good value, I've got discount codes if you need them - they email you every week once you buy a poster with "25% off week!".

My brother HAS to watch Korean/Japanese music videos everyday on Youtube or he'll die.
Well, I pretty much listen to them everyday. But I listen to other stuff, in a way I HAVE TO LISTEN TO MUSIC EVERYDAY OR I WILL DIE.

How do you like the external monitor right on top of the macbook? Do you use both screens?

It works well, I've used dual monitors for the last 6 years, when their next to each other its good but with a laptop I find it works really well and is easy to look at both if their right infront of me and now use for another keyboard too. mostly have iTunes, or a safari page or word doc on the macbook and what I'm working on, on the larger screen. try it. :)

I think I might. At the moment, my monitor is on the corner of my desk and I rarely use it. I'll just buy a $20 wall mounting kit on ebay and set it up :p

Go for it, you'll use it a lot more often. I've got mine on a show box with endless amounts of cables in, 12 surge protected plugs sockets and USB hub ;)

I believe my brain's just exploded.
I owe you one brain, then. ;)
Is that a Logitech Trackman Wheel I see? Fist bump!

I used one for years, that is, until I got a magic mouse. Either way, cool stuff.
Hell yeah, it is. I'm one of the few people I know that actually likes using a trackball. Between that Trackman and the Kinesis, I very rarely get wrist pain anymore.

I'm a Nokia enthusiast would you believe, and also a Moderator, and Editor of a very popular Nokiausers forum.

I get to trial various new devices from Nokia now and again too.

Thats pretty awesome.

I recently switched from RIM to Nokia. I bought a 5800 Navigation edition. I really wish I had waited for the X6 though...

Desk for two people?

Can anybody recommend a desk fit for two people? I have seen a couple of setups like this in the past, but I cannot find them. I am looking for a desk that will hold my imac and my girlfriend's macbook, and allow us to work in peace without getting in each-others way. Any suggestions?

Anything like that would be difficult to move, or be rearranged later. I'd just recommend a couple of desks in a corner. You're right next to each other, but your stuff is separated.

two 6' recreational tables (steel frame, white plastic top - note if you get one of these, get the non folding one, only the legs fold, not the entire frame, they are rated for approx 500lbs - i have one with a 24" iMac, 19" & 15" monitors and it doesnt budge), back to back, or a set of Ikea Mikeal or Galant desks, in some configuration (ex. Ikea Galant Corner Desks so you have a part against of the desk against the wall, and they backup to each other) so you can look directly at each other, but still have separate workspaces.

okay, so here's a shot of my External Monitor on it's arm with Coda open. It sooo easy to navigate through all the code like this.

And here's the stereotypical low-angle shot of my iMac, looking over my MacBook.

Damn thats clean. Every time I see a setup this clean I change my mind about ordering a new matte screen. That black bezel just completes everything ha.
