Here's mine.

The 13" MBP is my primary computer. It powers both of the external monitors (Dell P2310H's).

Soon to have:

- Third Dell P2310H for a triple monitor setup with 3 x 23" monitors and one MacBook Pro!
- iPhone 4G (first day it comes out)
- Maybe Wacom Pen and Touch

Still looking for:

- FW400/800 Case for my 2.5" Drive out of my MBP (it currently has an Intel X25 G2).

Any suggestions?

Are you using a Matrox or something else to pull that off? Do you like it? I ask because it's something I've been considering for my set up at home.

Im actually using a USB > DVI solution. The Matrox DualHead2Go Digital Edition would be better, but I had already purchased the USB>DVI adapter, and I also needed the ability to drive 3 monitors at full HD resolution. I have the Diamond BVU 195 adapter, but you can get them MUCH cheaper at monoprice.com now (http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10114&cs_id=1011403&p_id=6040&seq=1&format=2). There is VERY noticeable lag when you drag windows around. Even when you just move the mouse around there is a very slight lag. If you use programs that don't require you to constantly move windows around, then it's perfect. I use it for Safari, Mail, iChat etc. It can also play YouTube videos fairly well (just not at HQ or HD). If you only need 2 external monitors then the Matrox is a better product, since you get 2 Full HD monitors running without lag (but you are paying the premium for it!). Let me know if you have any more questions.

Ah, that explains a lot. That might be a good way to get to three externals for a laptop. Thanks!

oi, sorry for not answering; didn't see your comment

I do (mainly) house music production (mostly progressive house) and stuff, besides the occasional film score-type stuff. I have both a midi keyboard and a keyboard because I had the midi keyboard first and was then given the other keyboard by my sister (I like some of the sounds that it offers, so I kept it). The near-field reference monitors are used for everything (including production) besides mastering (unless it's late, or I'm testing bass resonance) as I do all mastering on headphones. The 13" uMBP in my sig is where it's always at now... on my bed, and not in the "studio" unless I'm doing something on it that requires wired ethernet.

As for the photo stuff, I had some money a few years ago (4 or so) and wanted a nice camera, so I bought one. I still haven't really learned how to use it that well. And you're right, the monitor is a Dell (2208WFP).

Sorry for all of the side comments... Glad you enjoy my setup. :D

No, that's awesome. Thanks for the response.

Am I to assume that the door pictured leads to a fiery pit of doom, and thus is blocked off?

Not to worry;).

BTW, I never said I didn't like the setup. I do. I just think it is beyond pathetic to post your setup as freaking often as he does. I thought someone needed to call him on it and so I did.

Hmm. We ARE in the "Post Your Mac Setup" series of threads. I've seen iGary and a few others post multiple times across the various threads - iGary hasn't for quite sometime {chop chop iGary}. Maybe it wouldn't be so annoying to you if he asked for opinions on changing his setup. Maybe it is practice for using a new camera - the varying angles looks like a shutter bug habit.

There is a simple solution .... its called Page Down or Scroll. He's not posting Porn, graphicall unacceptable material, humanly unacceptable, or even hate material. Try to appreciate his setup; like you do every other persons.

Finally got something I could actually call a setup. A small step up from just using the MacBook on the bed. :p But here's my modest setup.

Next things I plan on getting are either an Apple wireless keyboard or a Dinovo Edge, usb hub, and maybe a stand for my MacBook so it will be tilted, and some new speakers.

And the desk is placed in front of the door. No need to leave!

For the third time: It's a college dorm. The dorm is a bought-out old Fairfield Inn. The door is sealed but it just leads into my neighbors dorm.
