@zildjansg: Yes it's an Apple 23" Cinema Display
@pik.: I do still like the Nexus One. I use it as a wifi hotspot to get my iPad on the net when I'm not home.
I'm not sure about the iPhone 4. It's nice and all but it's not going to give me much more than the N1 does.

That stand is sick / I was looking for just that (I currently use my calculator and my old iPhone dock to prop up my iPad to the angle I want). May I ask who makes it and and does it fit the apple case as well?

this is my deployed set up

Is that the Drobo FS? How are you liking it? I was scared away by the proprietary filesystem, but will be deploying soon and need to beef up my meager storage (OWC-Elite-AL Pro Dual-Drive running 2x 1.5TB)

Ooh, nice monitor. Cool desktop background as well :D I'm trying to look for some good places to find them, anyone got any ideas?

Yes, that is an emac you see. Next to it is a hackintosh, which I'm quite ashamed to say I have. I've been trying to use my emac as my main. It's kind of hard seeing how it's 700mhz and 768 RAM with a 40GB harddrive and Mac OSX Tiger. But the idea that I'm not the only one still using Tiger keeps it alive.

Emac is my first and only real mac. Got it off ebay. Might get an Ibook G4 later this month from Ebay.

PowerBook is now a MacBook Pro, iMac is the same, and there is random junk around the desk area now. Don't worry, I still have my Apple mousepad. It's just stored away at the moment.

Which Iomega HD do you have? I have the prestige 500GB and it seems fine... Though it's almost 2 years old and I was thinking of getting a new 1TB for the sake of reliability vs age.

Sorry about the late reply! The Iomega drive that I have is the "Select Desktop Hard Drive". I just got it because it was dirt cheap on Boxing Day. It constantly drops connection while transferring. I've tried different hubs and even direct USB connection but it still drops the transfer sometimes. It's also loud at times (louder than my Mac Mini). I might have just gotten a lemon, so you might get a perfect drive :)

My current setup. Using an eating tray until I get enough space for a desk. I guess the positive thing about the tray is that it's pretty portable. :) Image quality isn't that best. Picture was taken with my Palm Pre Plus.

64GB iPad WiFi
13" MacBook Pro

That could very well be that case. I've noticed that my Iomega tends to get a bit loud too (almost 2 years old). I see that ebuyer.com have the samde design but 1TB for £70:eek:. I paid £65 for 500GB, but again that was around 20 months ago asn as we all know, technology get cheaper over time...

Can't beat the build quality though!

I've been looking at the setup threads for a while, I finally decided to join and post mine.
