Here's my mess. MacBook on the right and a Windows 7 desktop that I use for online school.

Just unboxed the i5 HR AG MacBook Pro. Also pictured are my amazing Klipsch iFi speakers, 32GB iPod Touch, and MS Wireless Laser Mouse 8000 (Bluetooth)

This is where I work. I have the i5 iMac controlling the 24 LED. The power from the LED always keeps my 17 MBP charged and the iPad goes straight into the iMac USB and the iPhones are charging through the LED USBs as well where they sit. It is a great clean set up for me and I truly do enjoy sitting down and getting things done here. Very lucky

@SnoFlo, I have a few questions:

- Is that the Dell U2711?
- Specs of your systems?
- What's that 19" device underneath your monitor?

Wow, I didn't realize that the 24" displays don't line up with the iMacs vertically. Good to know.

My apologies for not posting extra info., but thank you for asking!

Monitor is the Dell 2209WA. The laptop is a Powerbook G4 17". The thing under the monitor is a MSB Link D/A converter fed from the Mac Pro's optical out. That then supplies a Little Dot tubed headphone amplifier and AKG headphones. The Mac Pro is a 3.33 quad. Oh, also pictured is an old broadband radio and an Epson flatbed film scanner. Sorry again for omitting the info. Cheers!

I know this is a post your setup thread (which I have done twice).. but it also seems like the best thread to ask about a desk.

I'd prefer it to be from IKEA (Because i'm stuck on their black/brown) and I need it to be big enough to hold 2x23" monitors.. my (new) mac mini, ipod dock, iphone dock, ipad in dock, macbook pro in a bookarc, Xbox 360 (positioned vertically) and right now I have a pair of bose speakers, but i'm probably going to get some swan m10's soon'ish.

Please help..

for reference.. here's how it's all set up now (sans the iPhone dock, because I don't even feel like having more clutter than I alreadydo)

Excuse the photo.. taken with 3GS

@SnFlo: Thanks for the info. Quite interesting, that you have such a powerful desktop, but still a good old PowerBook. Any reason for that?

Haha, I'm emotionally attached to the G4. That and I'm also now poverty-stricken after spending my money on Mac Pro. :p
