You'd think Apple, being the best company in terms of aesthetics, would have designed their displays to complement all of their machines...

Well, they are different size displays, so naturally they would be a bit different. Plus they designed the current 24" ACD before the 27" iMac came out, and they were intended primarily for use with the MBPs and minis, or at least that's how they were marketed

Have you looked at the good old Ikea Galant series?

I've been quite pleased with mine. The best part about the series is that it's modular so you can give and take to fit your needs.

I totally understand the difficulties in getting all of your products to match up nicely. I would even buy a stand that held the 24 up 1.5 inches then it would be perfect. The actual height of the screen itself is very very similar its just the height that the stand sets each computer at does not match

My updated setup. The MacBook Pro i5 is on a cheap laptop stand I bought while in the USA.

Also in the picture: Logitech Wireless Mouse, Apple Wireless Keyboard, Creative Speakers, 250GB External HDD, Sennheiser Headphones, LG 19' monitor hooked up to my old Packard Bell iMedia, Xbox 360 and a Sky box.

Sorry for the poor quality picture, took with my Blackberry Curve 8900!

So you have a desk that'll fit all my junk, plus you have the speakers I want.

Ugh! lol

Does anybody know the name of(and have a link?) of the monitor stand that allowed you the room to put your laptop under it? I don't have much space, and that's the best solution I could think of.

I am pretty sure there are a few of them, but I really like this one, because of the USB ports on the front. I really hate reaching to the back to plug in something that's temporary..

Whoever that guy was who first posted a setup with Swans M10s....Swans should give him some free speakers or something. It seems like many people saw his setup and were drawn to them.

They're really quite pretty, and have decent sound reproduction as well. At least, as much as could be expected from $100 speakers.

But yeah, the Galant series is fantastic. I do need to pick up an extension though. Deskspace is like display resolution. Always need more real estate. :D

Not quite what I'm looking for, I need one to put my entire Macbook under so I would have room for a keyboard. Although I do like the extra usb ports :D

I can't say I know sorry, my Dad managed to pick it up at work when there was a clear out.

Although not the same, it looks basically the same as a desk from Staples. Camelot Ergonomic Left Hand desk it is (yeah, I work in Staples..)

Yeah and when/if I get the Swans, i've read that the "sub" isn't really a sub and should be kept at ear level or close to it.. so that means i'll need more space. I was partially thinking of removing the xbox 360 and secondary monitor and putting them in another room, but I like to have all my nerd stuff in one place.

Well, with cheap systems "subs" are usually just woofers. With this system it isn't even a woofer, it's more like a ....mid-woofer.

It is definitely directional unlike a real woofer, and it will work best at ear level.

My stickies finally have a place to go!

My mini is on the crappy monitor but audio runs through the 1978 yamaha I have ( gives it a nice warm sound I find) into some nice Mission speakers my uncle gave me. My pc is also hooked to the same monitor but also to the 37" panasonic for 1080p gaming goodness. With the xbox controller it's just like playing a 360 only with better graphics :p the ps3 under the tv rounds it all out ( and a bunch of mighty muggs that the gf hates.... With the other 45 in the closet :-(
